To be honest, the entry of Neel Oberoi was what made me watch MJHT for a few days.
This is one character that I felt was 'interesting'. Anyway, that's not the point behind this post.
So all of you are happy that Gunjan finally told Neel that she loves Samrat, and can't stay without him, everyone's happy for Samrat and Gunjan, but in this entire equation, the one that suffers is Neel.
So he is just a cameo, but I did get quite attached to him. For one, what was exactly Neel's fault in this entire thing? All he did was love Gunjan from all his heart, of course Gunjan never knew about it and fell in love with Samrat, and there's no way she'd reciprocate Neel's feelings.
But the one line that Neel said in the precap touched me. 'Isse behtar hota ki tum mujhe milti hi nahi Gunjan' These are words spoken from a broken heart. It's the confession of a broken heart.
It's true, when you love someone so much, because of whom you've achieved almost everything in life, and somewhere hoping that they'd reciprocate your feelings, ; but when you find out that that very someone whom you love so much actually has no idea as to how you feel, and has never taken you as more than a friend, and has found love in someone else instead, its hurts a lot. And Amit Jain did a great job of portraying that very pain.
Well, kind of a post dedicated to Neel, who's actually going through One-sided, unrequited love. My heart goes out to him, totally.
Would love to hear your povs as well. And yeah, before trying to assume that I'm bashing anyone, please do read the topic carefully. And maybe for once just keep aside the fact that you are sajanians, and try look at it from Neel's pov. Maybe you'd get the point behind this post.
IMO, Neel's one of the best cameo's of MJHT
