Accepted,
but the question was why do people hate(well dislike is the real word) Himesh Reshamiyya
Well
1. He started all this topi natak
2. He left his other two contestants to fend for themselves and totally devoted all his time to Vineet
3. His behaviour has been over the top to say the least in hyping Vineet. Every time Vineet made a mistake this guy is on the stage with some other natak to deflect the mistakes out of his singing
4. He has given Vineet the attitude(good for him), but Vineet's singing performance has not improved since C2005 started 6 months ago He is as good as he was 6 months ago, He infact tilted the scales for Vineet rather than teaching Vineet to scale the heights of singing so in effect setting him up for failure long-term, If your mentor cheats and makes your exams less tougher for you rather than making you learn, what good is the mentor?
5. He started the pyar ka natak, no need no place for it in a singing talent search.
6. He is totally disrespectful towards other singers/mentors on the program
7. He never admonished his contestants for the walkout(what teacher/mentor finds excuses to justify his student/contestant to run away for a contest?)
8. He made the whole judging process a joke(questioning the judges why they give certain marks and trying to nullify their verdict)
I can go on, but here are the first installment of 8(got to get back to work)
and again the word is DISLIKE not HATE
Just my POV, you can have yours
Agree with this totally. Due to this one film wonder with no proven track record Vinit is going to suffer, and mind you I am not a big fan of Vinit either, who himself claims that all he learnt during the entire contest was to develop an attitude - what happened to voice culture, breath control, better singing, voice throw ( in his case voice shout), and other finer points of singing. Attitude can come in when a person has made it to a level where he needs that attitude or can afford to have it. Not at a stage when a person is stepping out into a cut throat professional world of Indian Film Music. And I woudl hold HR totally responsible for it and god forbid Vinit (who may win the contest) but loses out in the outside world (since HR cannot give him protection throughout his life), HR will be responsible for it no one else.
