Indian Idol 1..It was so fresh and new..No other show like that was on air at the time and I remember how we used to wait anxiously for the episodes..There were a good bunch of singers and Sonu nigam was one of the judges..After that the quality just seems to deteriorate with each passing season..Hopefully this season will prove me wrong..

Exactly! Agree with you! My most favourite season was Indian idol 1, as that time the reality show concept was really new. And I was happy to see a deserving person that Abhijeet win the show, the other shows dissapointed me in that aspect!
