HR's best musical work

I was eating at one of the Indian restaurants here in NY and heard a very nice patriotic song sung by Shaan and KK. Lyrics went "Ishq Hai..Sar Zameen Se...." On going home, I found that this was from the movie Zameen and music by HR. Very impressed. has beautiful classical taans in between. Everyone should hear it Wonder why he doesnt do more of such kind.

Seriously, this song really touched my heart probably because it was patriotic but it was also very well composed.

Yes the man is capable of producing good soulful music, but his businessman side will drive him, he will give his majority audience what they want

"tere naam humne kiya hai..." is one of my wife's favorites. Insists that I sing it for her at togethers. i desist for other reasons...grin
