Written Update - 26th April

Here it goes.....

1. Sarpanch, Khanka's Father (KF) and Khanak's FIL are sitting together. KF is worried that if Khanak marries again then the society will not let him live with peace. Sarpanch comforts him saying that noone in this village has guts to say anything to KF as this was Panchayat's decision and not his decision. KF is further worried that Khanak will be suffering after hearing about the 2nd marriage and pleads Sarpanch to stop this. Sarpanch tells him that it's the city guy who has to stop. He assures KF that he will not let any injustice happen to Khanak afterall she is whole village's daughter. FIL butts in and says that she might be the daughter of the whole village but she is his DIL.

2. Khanak cries in front of Suraj's photo. She recollects the remarriage decision by Panch and wonders how she can remarry when she promised Suraj to support Suraj's love for ever. She loves only Suraj and pleads god as why is she paying the price. She recollects Shaan's comment on how Khanak would forget Suraj and remarry and gets extremely angry and starts shouting that how can she remarry. She recollects all the moments of Panchayat and starts breaking things around her.

3. Back to Sarpanch, KF and FIL. FIL tells Sarpanch that he might be bankrupt now but he has been very rich at one time and moreover he might be old, but he is still alive and rajput. God has given him enough power to sustain a family. He further states that Suraj is dead, guy who took care of the family. Sorrows are in everyone's life, the girl who came to his house in a doli, if she leaves his house in a doli then the society will not let him live.

4. Back to Khanak. She keeps throwing stuff around and pleading God that what kind of justice is this which separated her from Suraj and Suraj's family. The guy who killed Suraj would get him remarried. She tries lighting a match stick but is not able to and cries bitterly. She requests God that he has snatched God from him, atleast dont snatch the right to punish his murderer.

5. Back to Sarpanch, KF and FIL. FIL goes on that Suraj is waiting for him at the other side of the universe and when he has to go there, Suraj would ask him that he left his girl under his father's shadow, and father couldnt even take care of her. He tells Sarpanch that he is Rajput and he can take care of his family.

6. Back to Khanak. She cries bitterly asking Suraj to come back. Suraj's sister sees this and starts crying bittely herself. She tries supporting Khanak and requests her to not cry. She explains to Khanak that her crying will not make Suraj return. Khanak argues back that her not crying will also not return Suraj back.

7. Back to Sarpanch, KF and FIL. Sarpanch assures KF and FIL that he understands all this, after all he is this village's Sarpanch. He tells FIL that he understands that FIL is going through dual pain, one that of Suraj's demise and the other that of Khanak. He assures him that he will not let anything happen to FIL's status. We have to teach lesson to the city guy. Just because god has given him money, he thinks that he can wash of his penance easily. He thinks that by using money he can get a widow married and break the traditions that have been carved since 5 generations. He states that in this village, marriage is a 7 lives bond and just because one body is not alive, that does not break this bond. The city guy might laugh on their traditions but he will not let Shaan leave the village till he starts understanding the village's traditions and till he finds a groom for Khanak.

8. Shaan's father is talking to Shaan on phone. He shouts at Shaan that before speaking he should think twice. After all that is not Mumbai but is a village and a single phone call does not sort matters out. Shaan explains that he didnt know things would be blown out of proportion and he would be asked to find the groom. He requests his father not to get hyper like the villagers but his fathers shuts him up. His father explains him that his small mistake has become very big. Shaan explains his father that he is sorry but he tried offering money too but the Sarpanch here raised an objection that money is not everything but widow has more issues. Hence, he thought that the only way a widow's problem can be solved is by get ting her married again. He tells his father to give him a solution for this. Father explains Shaan that that is a village and a widow's remarriage is a very big issue there. Shaan scolds his father that from the time this issue has come up, he is only being scolded. He asks his father why wasnt anyone present with him in Panchayat to guide him? He apologizes to his father. His father advises him to find a groom for Khanak and in the meantime, he will meet Natasha's father to find a solution but till then warns him not to raise further issues.

9. Khanak and Bui are talking. Khanak requests Bui to let her stay in the house. Her goal is to fulfill Suraj's dreams and she doesnt want anythign more from life. She has to take care of Suraj's family and become "Suraj" for this family. She requests Bui to explain everyone not to get her remarried and if anyone talks to her about remarriage again, she would give her life. Bui is shocked and tells Khanak not to talk like that. She tells Khanak that she can understand her pain. Khanak tells Bui that she cannot lead this long life without Suraj and she would die without him. FIL hears this and is very sad that he always wanted Khanak to be very happy and smiling but Khanak has no smile on her face. Khanak has just started leading her life then how can she think about death. He vows not to let this happen.

PRECAP: FIL goes on his Knees in front of Shaan and tells him that I touch your feet, pelase save my household from hunger. The reporters surround Mr.Khandelwal - Shaan's father, in his house and asks him, if it is true that his younger son is in a problem and has murdered someone. The family is shocked and worried to hear this.
