In the past ten days the news media has been bombarding news which is really very important for all Indians. First it was the Shashi Tharoor case which involved 70 crores and and lady and the IPL shares of a rendezvous company............the Minister had to hastily resign amidst the rumours of Mr Lalit Modi wanting to buy the so called company or so. Immediately and during this process the Income Tax officers came in the light and started raiding the IPL offices and as all this was going on the pressure mounted on Lalit Modi to resign. Even as this process was going on there was a comment on Praful Patel's daughter ordering a plane to be diverted (chartered). This is all the news we get to watch on the Indian Television Channels. The best part is today they have already forcasted the news for Monday the 26th of April which will consist of the uproar in the Parliament abut the telephone illegal recordings. What a country. The Parliamentarians have a nice time talking about all this rubbish instead of talking and doing something positive for our country. Have we elected these people for all this circus? In ten days this is all that has happened in our country. No one is talking about the price rise, water shortage, heat, powercuts and other things that are much more important for the common man. Just talking about the IPL and the millions of rupees being swindled by these high profile cons who are sitting in the respectable Parliment of our country. Otherwise ALL IZZZZZZZZZZZ VERY WELLLLLLLLLLLL IN OUR COUNTRY.😭

Yes, I completely agree with you. The problem is the politician doesn't always have the welfare of people on his mind, it is each for himself. The typical politican does what the market tells him to do. Anotyher factor is the media. The media is like a snake charmer, who is making the snake(the audience) dance because this is what we want. Hyped news, that's what the public wants. Combine that with the wealth disparity created by the British, and you have India. The government is lax enough to not enforce welfare programs for the poor. Fortunately, the new education minister is changing the system for the better. Let's see what further tamasha we have to live through.
