salman is still my favorite but in the 90's .... OMG people used to be crazy in love with him especially me. Bollywood can't be the same without salman khan.... he made it so cool, very entertaining. I love him because he was the best entertainer EVER.

well i dont exactly am crazy abt him as an actor n hardly watched a movie simply cz he s there..he is a good actor no doubt but thats not y i like him a lot he is so frank n nice!such a good human being...
he has his faults as the article says but well his good deeds over shadows his follies in leaps n bounds...his fan interactions r to die for!just amazing n u can actually say he feels warmly towards the people he interacts with!..so i really like the guy..may be ts my way of luking at it, being a girl..but in real life too i would like to have a guy like that in my life..he'd actually care n take time to listen to u😃

I second that. Although he does seem to be a nice guy now, I somehow cant over look the fact that he has physically abused an ex GF, Killed an endangered species animal and was claimed to have run over homeless people because of drink-driving.

So unfortunately I have no sympathy or liking for him.

^^^ @ Sunara and @ Pragya: Oh, I hardly judge an actor based on his personal life. That wasn't the reason why I don't like Salman. It's simply that I don't consider him to be an actor. He is the most overrated piece of a wooden plank for me. Throughout his entire career of so long, there hasn't been a single performance by him where I could say with it full conviction that he actually 'acted'. The same wooden expression seems to be sticking onto his face, no matter what he does. His comedies are cringe-worthy to say the least. He seems like the female version of Aishwariya (as an actor) to me. [/Opinion]

Don't want to start nitpicking on others opinions, but do you guys believe in the stories of his abusing Ash on the sets of Chalte Chalte?

oh well that part even i told..i don't have a single performance of his which i can point out as a reason 4 me watching one of his movies..well come to think of it the only salman movies i have ever properly watched has either Preity(5)/Kajol(3) or SRK(2) in it!..otherwise i havent watched any of his movies..😲
but well i do like him as a person..have seen his public interactions..heard some other stars talking abt him..well so my personal opinion of him is really good..
n for me to like an actor its the appearance and acting which draws my attention but its usually their personality that keeps my attention thru the years as much as their acting skills..

well i really don't know what happened b/w salman n Ash.. as i wasn't a fan of either at that time i didn't follow so closely either..anyway wasn't this net savvy as i was schooling by that time..so all i knw is they dated n the broke up n r not in good terms..but as far as i know neither Ash nor Salman actually spoke of this incident to the media rite? so i really don't have any opinion on that matter.sorry labib.
