i agree that marriage is one of the most cherished events in onez life...compromise are made IN marriages, agree..but a marriage shouldn't be BASED on a compromise.. it was more of a "why not" situation.. Riddhima gave into emotional blackmailing by her father and went "why not...my life is gonna end either way" kinda thing...and Sid said "why not save this girl from her miseries?" which, btw, is an awesome thing for someone to do.. so hats off to Sid... and then they decided to show that they are moving on....it sucked for AR fans..but still...it madee some sense.. however, they could have stretched that part out a little portraying that its difficult for Riddhima but she is tryin to deal with it...good up until then...she is thinking of a good future with sid, goin to pune....ok fine..Originally posted by: mandy1024
Before calling this marriage baseless, please answer one question. How many couples break up and end up getting married to someone else? In the beginning its just a compromise, right? Bcoz that person wouldn't have been the one you dreamt of spending the rest of life with. Does that mean don't put any efforts at all to make your marriage a success? NO. Its difficult and you surely cannot accept that person from your heart right away. But with time you begin to trust that person and accept this relation from the bottom of your heart. If neither of the person made an effort and there was nothing at all in that relation then I accept its a compromise. But when Armaan came back into her life, she wanted to accept this marriage and give it a chance and this decision wasn't based on any obligation. The smile on her face and the anticipation of meeting Sid that day in Pune said that all. I only dont want CVs to turn marriage into a joke. If every other person had to think the other way round then there would be no point in getting married at all. Just go in for a live in realtion or whatever that is and the lawyers would've been the one to mint money for getting divorces.
