i am in minneapolis....the campus is very close to the downtown..actually i can walk to the downtown from home/university...so it is a little expensive on that account...

but ya..I am a research assistant as well....and i earn decent bucks..i had no funding fr the first sem only..otherwise i am well set... I am just on a shoe buying/saving spree....

ohhh..ae a friend of mine was in MN for a year..I remember he was telling me about an incident..he and his friends had got a bicycle and were very fresh in the country..they did not know how far the streets reached..and they wanted to go to the mall/downtown..and someone told them to go straight on some "street"[I dont recall which one--i guess church street]..they kept cycling for an hour..and someone told them that the street was very long and they should know which intersection they wanna go on🤣

I have been to Minnesotta and duluth..very pretty in summer😊
saving is always good..only beneficial in the long run..😊

I personally LOOOVEE to walk...i asked my friend who was visiting me from missouri to walk home with me ..because the view is nice...i made him walk for 1.45 hrs after dinner..he stared daggers at me😆


Ive been to duluth....bought chinese dresses too...fell into lake superior during white water rafting and SCREEAAMED "I CANT SWIM" for a while..the lake is aweesome when u are next to it..and not in it

I screamed and screamed ..till the dude reached me first...superior had current..I cant remain dignified in the water not knowing to swim..lost my paddle too

it was in Carleton, Minnesota...did u guys use the same rafting company...


Stillwater, Minnesota and lake calhoun are more fun...atleast i havent screamed yet there
