All four finalists, Punit from Remo Ke Rangeele, Shakti from Terrence Ki Toli, and Binny and Dharmesh from Geeta Ki Gang, were present with their respective mentors. Only Remo wasn't around to cheer his protege. The idea behind the desi carnival was to hype the grand finale scheduled for April 23.
The event showcased different dance forms of India like bhangra, garba, lavni, salsa, jive and Bollywood style jigs. There was also a tribute to the late pop legend, Michael Jackson.
It was a cheerful event for fans as the fans were gathered along the road to take a glimpse of their favourite contestant. Even the other contestants who are eliminated from the show also gathered to perform. Amrita from Geeta ki Gang and Kunvar Amarjeet Singh from Terrence ki Toli performed till the finalists arrived.
From the public reaction, Dharmesh was a clear favourite. Punit swung to the remix of Pyar hamein kiss mod pe le aaya...' while Binny matched steps to Pe pe pe pe... from Chance Pe Dance. Shakti did a Chhaliya... from Tashan and Dharmesh got groovy with a mix of 'I am Dharmesh...' and Ganesh Hegde's Main deewana... The show ended with an appeal to the crowd to vote for all the contestants.
