I am sure most people know that our Freddie matlab Dinesh Phadnis has written many stories for CID.

Yesterday while watching the re-runs I noticed his name as the story writer for Gumnaam Laash (aired 17-Jul-2009). It was about a headless corpse found on the railway station which had H1N1. Actually I liked that case since I saw it for the first time and was so happy to know that our good old Freddie is the writer.

Anyone who notices his name as the writer, please keep adding here.

It was a good episode actually, except for the Tarika scenes.

There is one case that have showed today in re-run name " Father's Revenge" also written by Fredie (Dinesh Phadnis)

Really!!!. How did I miss his name. I will check that again today. Its one of my favorite stories.

in yesterday's reruns it was shown that the story of the 'case of black out' was also by Dinesh Phadnis 😊

yes. In "blackout", sory is by Dinesh Phadnis, but it is written by Sridhar Raghavan.

Can someone please tell me what's the difference between writing and giving the story??

There are two things. STORY and SCREEN PLAY. STORY is the plot, the basic plot of what you want to show. A story could be like this - CID finds a Headless Corpse which has Swine Flu. But how the story is told comes from SCREENPLAY, i.e the flow of scenes. So STORY is WHAT is to be shown and SCREENPLAY is HOW the story is to be shown. So even if Freddie has written the story the sceenplay might have been written by Raghwan Sir.
