Mahi = Confused and Unsure Soul

Mahi... the girl who gives (used to give) excellent advice to her column readers is actually such jhalli (in her mother's words 😳). I don't know why she is always so unsure about Shiv. First she didn't like him because he wasn't wearing such great shoes, then she considers him boring and self-help books writer type, and then she just doesn't believe that she has feelings for him. WHY? Because he's boring? Alright, so how's that Dev guy more interesting than Shiv?

Why can't Mahi understand a simple fact that she can only be herself with Shiv? Why can't she learn the simple truth for SRK's movies that she so believes in that true love is accepting a person just the way he/she is. In true love, you do NOT change yourself, and you do not feel the need to do so either.

With Ishan, she always was so self conscious. What to say, what not to say? How to appear not a despo type? How to do this and that? Bla bla blah.

And now with this Dev guy, she's still not herself. Pretending to like that play thing when she totally did NOT get it. Pretending to absolutely loving that book that she hated the first moment Dev handed it to her. She's not herself, she 'hides' her true self to appear to Dev that she is just like him.

With Shiv, she's just Mahi... Mahi who's afraid of certain things, Mahi who can say anything to Shiv without hesitating even a little. Mahi who loves food and can comfortably eat anything with Shiv. With Shiv, she's just simple Mahi... the person she is. Granted, you are just yourself with friends too. But you don't dream of your friends as your dream guy in Tujhe dekha song! You don't imagine your friends in every single person you see on the road. You don't call everyone you meet with your friends' names.....

Come on Mahi, come out of that confusion and accept it! It is Shiv you are truly falling in love with.

I totally agree! Can't understand why she's so blind to this that she can't see how Dev is just pretty much using her.

As for Mahi's behavior towards Shiv, I think I finally understand what my grandma means when she says "Ghar ki murghi daal barabar"

Umm.. well, I am a bit unsure about Sid not thanking Mahi. I think he did the right thing by getting angry with Mahi when she said Shiv is her back up plan and kind of ignoring her in the party, but I think she did deserve a simple thank you. After all, she talked to Shiv who was then able to help Sid.

i fail to understand why does she fall for men like mr NRI and ishaan?...
i mean look at shiv hes an IDEAL guy....hes not self obsessed vain and stupis.......why is mahi so confused...if i was in her place i wud have know my felling within amatter of two weeks......
