Well, This is my first topic. Yesterday I read through some posts in some other forums which were bashing Nupur . I felt very bad and sent an email to CVs with the subject "Why Always NUPUR in Bad light". But as always I don't receive any reply from them. So I am here to share my views.
Nupur is my most favorite character. Though its a fictitious character , she has a special place in my heart like my own sister. So it hurts me when she is shown in bad light and people start bashing her in all the forums though they are giving correct explanation.
i must thank Rati and also Creatives who has given me NUPUR , the most realistic character.
why do CVs always show her in bad light to highlight other characters and highlight other couple trust and understanding level??
I am very disappointed and sad with the way she has been shown after her marriage (especially during Nupur and Gunjan misunderstanding track and during baby track).
Actually i have stolen some of the points from other members posts in creative thread (They have well described Nupur). Sorry guys for that.
1. Nupur and Gunjan misunderstanding track:

From the starting of the track both the sisters are shown as misunderstanding each other. But at last Nupur was shown wrong , especially by shouting at her sister and embrassing her infront of every one in the library (I think Nupur never hurts her little sister and allows anyone to hurt her). Even it was shown that the Gang supported Gunjan.
Here is our actual nupur as the best sister:
She was protective for her young sister,for she had always played the role of a mother and best confidante to her sister.....she loves and respects her family and its members.
In this track Nupur is put in bad light to highlight other character.
2. Baby Track:

Nupur has been abused and assassinated the most especially in this track.
Who she was- Nupur was a lively,bubbly girl,full of life and energy....she used to be happy and make sure others around her too were happy!! She believed in living life to the fullest....she lived in her dreams but was aware of the reality too......she saw the brighter part of life,and was never a hitler!!! She was caring,she cared about everyone inclusive of her once enemy(and now husband)MayankSharma.....she may seem to be one of those bold,brave and strong characters,but she's also very vulnerable.......she trusts her love and her best friend mayank,more than anything (go watch the first barn scene,for reference)She is also extremely intelligent,has the guts to challenge the topper of the college and rank second.......its because of her beautiful,vivacious,bright and colourful,caring,intelligent self,that The Mayank Sharma too couldn't stop himself from falling in love with her!! She shared a wonderful relationship with Shilpa aunty,her mother in law now...so much that,shilpa had too felt Nupur to be perfect for her son Mayank.....only she could handle him,his sarcasm and teach him how lovely life is!She fights,but when she learns that she's wrong,she'll make it up quick...a fun loving,cute,yet sensitive character....with a 'handle-with-care' warning..that only mayank could read!
What she was in that track- A nagging wife,constantly insecure,doesn't trust her husband,but everyone else! She is unwilling to listen to her husband,never polite or being a little bit sensitive.......she has also been made into a comic character...which is utterly disappointing.One moment she cares so much for her sister,the next moment you see her treating her husband in such a way!!!wasn't she the one who told him,that she trusts him more than anything??that come what may she would always be with him??? What has she become now???
And at the last of the track she was again shown in bad light forcing her sister to throw chilly powder so that they can win the baby. Can she cross all the limits just for winning the baby?? And finally it was shown that she is only at fault.
In the entire baby track she is put in bad light to highlight other couples' trust and understanding level.
3. Awlays, Why does she want Mayank to be romantic and try to do things to make him romantic?? Aren't there any other things she has to think about?? I have never seen her as responsible, loving and caring wife after her marriage. She has to think about some responsibilties also as she is a married woman now.
We want to see her being a responsible wife, focusing on studies and household work, stepping in with her husband to share responsibilities
NUPUR was shown more positive and intelligent during eve-teasing track. . I was very happy at that time and thought that Nupur would get some recongnition (in a positive way) in her gang. But They have winded it up so abruplty without showing how others care about her. I agree that they respect viewers. Atleast they would have one more episode where we can see some emotional scenes where everyone is worrying about NUpur. I have never seen any episode where her friends are sad about her (I always see everyone making fun of her).
Please do email to CVs about this , if you agree with me so that at least in the future we may get to see what we want for NUPUR. We should request CVs to show Nupur as a normal sensible human being who gets huts , who gets angry if someone insults her and as responsible , loving and caring wife/woman. She should get all the love, care and respect what deserves most.
