Use sunscreen lotion: Sunlight is strongest between noon to 3 pm. Before stepping out please use good sunscreen lotion which has strong protection, say SPF 50, as strong protection is needed in India's summer.

Hydrate your body: During the summer, our body gets dehydrated from the heat even in the shade. Those who work excessively hard are even more susceptible to heat stroke, which is very dangerous for both body and mind. It completely weakens the body, and to avoid it drink lots of water. At least 5 litres a day. And not just this: have fruit juice - raspberry, strawberry and, most efficient of all, water melon.

Bathe twice a day: During the summer, we get lethargic from the heat. But the sweat that we produce is quite nasty and it can lead to infections if it isn't washed off regularly. Bathing in cold water or having a shower after work in the evening keeps you fresh and safe!

Avoid too much tea and coffee: Both tea and coffee produce heat in our body and that excess results in severe acidity. Avoid them and have cool natural fluids like coconut water and orange juice.

Head out to the hills
If you're planning a vacation, avoid the warmer places of the plains and the beaches, and go to the hills instead. India has some lovely places like Kulu Manali and Rohtang

Plant more tress: To avoid global warming, please plant saplings. These inhale carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and exhale oxygen. Plants are a great way for individuals to combat global warming.

Save fuel: I am supporter of the movement to save fuel. I keep telling my friends and co-stars that we need to use as few cars as possible.
