From the 5 second preview I saw, I think it is Kavadi aatam...

which literally means kavadi dance..I am unable to find videos to show u a sample of what it is...

it is mostly done on religious days as a parade kind of a dance

I may be wrong as well

geeta's dance was good as far i can see...😛

kavadi is done on vrat..south indian FOLK..not classical.... more variations of kavadi might have needles running through the body as well... it is usually done in a trance..
and mostly combined with walking a coal pit kinda religious acts/..

In another post even I said that dance style given to Dharmesh Gondhal also falls under Indian Folk and not under Indian Classical.

Only Shakti and PUneet are doing pure classical! Rest all are doing Folks.

SAS kavadi is high energy...

traditional kavadi done in trance involves a lot of stuff thta is religious...and a little painful to watch..I usually dont comment because I dont want my opinions to be misconstrued because I AM from a different one...

but bharatanatyam and kathak being more well known give more scope for nitpicking

when u make mistakes in folk, u can adjust unless u are playing with props like the kavadi.... but when in classical u cannot adjust

I too wondered over the specific mix of classical and folk

It is beacuse the allocation of dance styles are done based on the 'threat' factor 😳
