Riddhima hurting herself by hurting Armaan...

Anyone seen PAA?? I just saw it last night and this little bachi said the most insightful dialogue...

Jo galti karta hai woh galti sehne wale seh zyada hurt hota hai

It just clicked so well with AR.

Riddhima knows she has that regret of not waiting a few more days. Just a FEW more days and she could have been with Armaan. It angers her but there is nothing she can do about it. Her frustration leads her to blame Armaan (though she is right on her side about the letter, it still does NOT justify her marrying someone else). Him leaving the letter was not the reason why she agreed to marry Sid.

She acts so cold towards him, lashes out at him when given the opportunity but thats only after Armaan has shaken her up a bit otherwise she doesn't dare to look in to his eyes. She KNOWS by hurting him she will hurt herself. Woh usse dard deti hai and then she runs away because she can't actually SEE him in pain. Strange na?? After she told him about her marriage, she walked away ASAP! Why?? Why couldn't you stay and see Armaan's state??

If people remember the dialologue Armaan said in the FE:

'Main jaanta hu ke jitna dard maine saha hai tumse door rehke, usse se kahi zyada dard tumhare dil mein hai'

That was the MOST calm I had seen her in ages. Isn't the dialogue true?? She does have a lot of pain in her heart and this pain has come from the lack of Armaan in her life. She needed someone to understand that she has suppressed all those feelings which have left her in this zombie-like state.

Riddhima said Mujhe bhi jeena nahi aata tha

Well Riddhima....are you alive at the moment?? Is this what you call LIVING?? If you've chosen to stick by your husband then be happy.

She is upset...soon she will regain her brains and go back to Armaan...AR forever!

Beautiful post Reemz! Completely agree, she is just hurting herself along with Armaan, if she does stick to her marriage 3 people will b hurt, her, Sid n Armaan... though she's denying it, its obvious she still loves Armaan!

Reemz: Wonderfully put! I doubt if this is even 0.1% different from Riddhima's actual state of mind!
She is hurting herself with every barb, every scream , every shout and every indifferent glare that she tries to pass of as a sign of being strong.
We know better how she spends half of her time Trying to drain out the misery of her life, crying alone in the FE, kneeling in front of the idols and what not. She is mentally and physically in denial , but cant help the Dard that she is giving herself. But that was expected Too, AR are so joined toone another that neither can be happy while the other is in pain!
Have you ever ever seen either of them feeling even Okay, when the other side was suffering- even when they had their days of separation something moved them somewhere!
Riddhima needs to understand that No compromise, No so called friends, no companion, no social acceptane can was hover her feelings of Love being lost!
The only Person who can help her is HERSELF! Until then- tears and more anguish in both hearts that are entwined together!

Zara: Exactly! Armaan stirs so many emotions within her that without him, she is nothing. Armaan is Armaan because of Riddhima and Riddhima is Riddhima because of Armaan! Its as simple as that!

Ishi!!! Dude you write it so much better than I can!! 🤗 That girl is too ziddi!! She is hellbent on hurting him but at the same time she doesn't have the guts to look him in the eyes. She isn't only mentally and physically in denial but also mentally drained too. She's forgotton herself in all of this! Even when she started to accept her new realtionship, that still wasn't OUR Riddhima there. To forget Armaan she must forget herself!

Hayye I wish someday after all these confusions are over Armaan teases her by Saying Ziddi ladki and she says Pyaar mein Ziddi yes yes! Hehe! Sigh, its AR that people dote upon and seeing them hurt dont the Cvs realise that the audience feels disturbed too? So thats all the more reason they r gonna work toget back the fuzzy feeling back!
