First off, like what you said, i loved how Isha was delibrately pushing the task of handling the "makeover" of Shyam to Rohan..it was such a cute and funny moment!!.. 😆.The best thing is that despite Rohan not wanting to do it, he always ends up doing it...!!..😆 and thats what i like about the Rohan-Isha relationship...like he was trying his best to hint that he doesn't want to help..but still he did it..and even woke up at what 6 am..?...(Shyam calling him..😆)...was well nice of him...😆...and well well those lessons...hmm i must say Rohan know's how to handle the ladies the right way...😆..those intricate (from Shyam's POV 😆 ) details of how one should not speak about themselve UNLESS the lady asks..and it did come in handy for Shyam when he was on his date....So not bad a guru or gurus ( 😉) i must say our Rohan Mehra is...😆

@ bold: okay this was an interesting piece of advice .... i do agree that a man should listen but I would definitely want him to speak as well .... not interrupt me and not lemme get a word in but I would like to hear the guy's voice now and then😆 but I'm sure Rohan just wanted to spare the girl Shyam's length, detailed, and slightly boring legal stories so I too would say good job by our guru there😛😆
The balancing of a beer bottle instead on the head was hilarious i thought..! 😆...and then the way Rohan pretended to act like a lady..and the crossing of legs...😆 😆..and the way one should hold their wine glasses..The whole lot was a funny scene..and then came that interlocking of eyes moment between Isha and Rohan...😳..i gotta agree with ya..I was happy that it wasn't too cliche' or anything..but for some reason looking at Rohan look at Isha like that..just made me so happy..It seemed very real..and like he was really looking deep into her eyes..i hope am not reading too much into things..😆..BUT i just loved that eyelock scene the best..It just gave us the slightest next possible hint that Rohan and Isha might have maybe..just maybe smth for each other..Been long since we got a hint..and this sure was a huge progress..from Rohan's side i feel..the way he grabbed Isha's hands unknowingly...!! 😳 😆.......

@ bold: those were the absolute best parts of Guru Rohan 🤣 .... the Man is a dedicated teacher .... proof?: he's willing to put his alcohol and carpet at risk to train his student 😆 and he's a method teacher - like a method actor only he get's into the subject he's teaching by enacting it 😆
You know the part where before Shyam goes for his date..He tells Rohan that if he needs any help from him, he can just ask him...and Rohan gave Shyam that "You want ME to ask YOU? hah! Ain't needing your help in the ladies department" (😆) kinda look..i was like ahh so typical of Rohan BUT eventually i loved how they showed Rohan calling up Shyam to get some inside info on Ragini...That was a good move by the Rishta.com Unit..i love how they made Rohan eat his own words (not literally but through making that phone call asking for Shyam's help) ..he needs it at times...😆 I think this was the second time that happened..Previously was with that Bar dancer ( Twinkle if am not mistaken)..How he was dead sure that he woudn't be coming in to watch her..and eventually they ended off with him coming in....

@ bold: I have to agree with you there ... Rohan Mehra does need a reality check from time to time to keep him grounded😛😆 .... and R.com is very good at making sure his feet remain planted on Earth 😆
Rohan and Huzeifa's convo was hilarious!!..I totally loved that whole part..😆..and the reasons being what you stated...getting so involved in that "You shd ask me before meeting any guy" (😆) convo and eventually not knowing..how deeply attached they were getting into it that it seeming as though they both were in a relationship together.....😆 😆..Too good!..and then Rohan throws the handphone to Huzeifa but Huzeifa just stares into blank space and misses the catch...😆 😆...

@ bold: OMG I totally forgot to mention this earlier ..... thank you for bringing it up ..... I loved that part ... it was absolutely hilarious 🤣

Rohan being the Fashion guru...Hahah okay for Shyam i get it..but with Isha too...?...hahaha...that was weird..!..but i like the reasons you stated as to how he knows the right (if i may say so) type of fashion for women...😉 😆...I go for the one with him being hit by the many bags...😆

@ bold: 😆😆 ... I'd love to see a flashback of that ... like Isha asking him why do you know so much about bags and him flashing back to being hit by like 963258741 different styles of bags 🤣 .... actually I wouldn't want this in the episode but I would love it if the released a DVD of the show and had "behind the scenes" of R.com where Kavi and Shruti are actually still in character so they show these kinds of things as additional scenes after the episode ..... sorry if that didn't make sense😕😆 - Bones fans will understand what I mean - they have these in Bones DVDs 😆
That Naina and Isha issue thing was very cute i felt..I loved how excited Naina was when she knew that Isha "loved" the bag she gave...it was very cute i thought..and the part where she was like "I love surprises!"..all bubbly like a small child..Am liking Naina very much..and eventually the way the issue was settled with them all laughing abt it was well..again cute..:)...Great msg behind it..though it may not apply at all times..doesn't really work eveytime when you are frank and upfront about how you feel abt somethings.....what i feel..😆 but i guess for such small issues like the bag...and likes and dislikes related..then it shd be fine...:)

Finally..Sureena and Huzeifa..Well i felt sad for Huzeifa..That whole convo between them in the car was totally unexpected..I didn't expect Huzeifa to tell that to Sureena..instead i thought he would be happy with the fact that he managed to not feel intimidated by Sourab. But instead he went a step higher and i gotta say am proud of him..Him letting go of Sureena was surely a right move by him..So i guess Sureena is innocent afterall..She didn't meant any harm to Huzeifa..It was a sad parting but a meaningful one (hope i am making sense here...😆) ..and i love that hug they gave each other at the end..:)

@ bold: you're completely making sense .... to me at least😛😆 .... I like the way you put that ... a sad but meaningful parting😳
All in all a great epsiode..!! Enjoyed myself very much watching it..! Great job by the Rishta team!..👏

@ bold: WORD 👏

And hey i agree with ya...Everything does sound better in plurals with it's related to Rohan Mehra...😆...and just realised one thing..there was very little of Ruchika in this episode..hmm

@ bold: I know but I guess that was because this time the "case" (i.e., Shyam) was sort of joined to the hip with Rohan instead of just coming and going from the office like most others and plus Huzeifa and Isha's stories had them out of the office too so poor Ruchika must've been the only one working during this episode - I mean only one working except for Guru Rohan of course
😛😆

Thanks again for sharing your views Vini had a great time reading, responding, and remembering the episode through your post😃

So little Ruchika, but I'm hoping she'll have more things to do next time around since the more meaningful spotlight in this one was on Huzeifa. Talking of whom, was his decision about Sureena after meeting Sourab sweetly surprising or what? He'd gone into the meeting being so nervous and unsure, even seeking help of his lady friends about it, but the way he handled the fact that he felt Sureena and Sourab should be together, the way it came to him so naturally...his maturity did end up manifesting itself, and that too in a sweet, friendly way rather than condescendingly blowing up in Sureena's face. Sourab/Huzeifa getting along like a house on fire was a nice surprise too ;) Good to see.

@ bold: completely agree .... I loved how maturely Huzeifa handled the situation ... and you're right .... I think what I liked best about the whole thing was that it all transpired so naturally ..... it wasn't overdone ..... it was logical .... unexpected .... and had a sweet wrap up with the hug😳

(BTW, gold-diggers are also a reality, not entirely dramatized fiction, so even if they would have taken that road, I wouldn't have deemed R.com as a vamp-infested serial :P)

@ bold: I know I know gold- diggers are a reality too😛😆 I've just watched soooooo many versions with the wigs and the pancaked makeup and shiny clothes passed off as being modern and in fashion that I've started automatically associating them as being unreal and unnecessary drama😕😆 ..... but you're right even if it had gone that route I'm sure it would have been done tastefully, realistically and within reason .... so I'm sorry😳 .... I wouldn't have deemed it as being vamp infested either😆 ..... I think I just carried away with the fact that Sureena turned out to be so non-vamp-ish when I was starting to set her up to be one ..... it caught me by surprise and I think I was a little too thankful for it😛😆 .... but thank you for reminding me of that😳😃

Isha...if anything, this storyline only confirmed what her dad said, that she's always on a mission to make everyone around her happy (although of course, Rohan can be exempted from that :P) Again, she shows that she's all heart (: The scenes between Naina-Ashok-Isha also showed that they're a lot more comfortable together now, enjoying each other's company rather than dreading it, so that was nice progress.

@ bold: completely agree😆
@ underline: well someone has to be there for her to balance out all her goody-two shoe-ness with😆 (and disclaimer: I mean good two shoe-ness in the nicest way - I'm pretty much like that too so I'm not bashing the character😛😆)
@ blue: I really liked how they've progressed gradually too .... from wanting to run in opposite directions to buying each other gifts .... I like how steadily they've become increasingly more comfortable with each other

Rohan and Shyam, lovely antics 😆 Definitely an amusing storyline. Rohan and Isha's teasing is coming on into full swing, with the bag and Shyam as means of ammo by turns...interesting to hear Naina's observation about how she perceives their relationship, btw :P

Two things that didn't sit right with me:

One, it seemed all too much like Rohan/Isha were trying to change Shyam in order to make him be the guy that 'every girl wants.' Sure, it was just a few harmless tips, but rather than trying to repress his inner person for this one date, they could've focussed on etiquettes and polite manner and then told him to be himself. What will happen when Shyam's moochain start growing out again? 😆 And what will happen when he out-of-habit begins spouting those numbers about his business and clients? Surely Ms. Juhi will be in for a surprise.

@ bold: I can see what you mean about the mustache but as a person who watches "What Not To Wear"😆 I don't mind the change in styling, hair etc too much because it falls under the whole etiquette and grooming..... but I did mention this in my response to Vini above, I can kinda agree to what you mean about him changing his manner and frequency of speaking ...... I personally wouldn't want a guy to do that - I'd like to know something like that before I get married to a guy ..... but at least he did say to her that he was advised not to speak until asked so hopefully Juhi will be able to see his habitual lawyer-speak starts surfacing😳😆 .... and since this is just the first date and he's just trying to make enough of an impression that she can continue meeting him .... maybe the gradual re-surfacing of his actual speaking style will be okay with her because she'll be able to see all the good things about him first .... like the fact that he went so far as to try to change just for her😳 .... or maybe I'm being too optimistic about it😆 .... I guess nothing can be done now but I wish R.com had a second season and we got to re-visit stories like this and see how the panned out .... oh well .... boo to TRPs😆

Two, as an extension of the point above, they let Shyam (and even Rohan with his lie about having read the lawyer's paper) get away and succeed with the false pretense that he was putting up. It sends out an implicit message that deception is just alright if you get what you want. If somehow they would have twisted the story around by an incident at the date in which Shyam's real-self spilled out and Ms. Juhi was still even more impressed with him, the explicit message would have changed into "Be yourself." On the other side, the lawyer should have caught Rohan in his lie through some cross-questioning and left him to drown his sorrows at the bar, only to find out the next morning that Shyam's display of his real personality won over the lady, while his little trick left him anywhere but. Pan to Rohan smiling a small smile of understanding, that Shyam is a genuine, good guy as himself and being yourself is the best way to charm people.

@ bold: I would have liked this ending too ..... see as Vini was saying Rohan had to "eat his words" by having to ask Shyam for help so that was the positive thing about the ending of the track .... but the part about Shyam's actual personality being the thing that won Juhi's heart would have been nice too .... as I said ..... I wish we had a second season where they could re-visit cases and see things like this actually come up ..... like if they got invited to Shyam and Juhi's wedding and Juhi mentioned that she fell for Shyam when he started talking about how he won a specific case ...... it would have been interesting to see Rohan's reaction then .... but I can totally see why you didn't like the way the track was handled .... I liked how he did have to ask Shyam for help because it taught him that you shouldn't underestimate someone's value ..... but I personally didn't like that Rohan ended up in bed with the lawyer that way ..... I had been hoping that the whole Sukrit thing had made him change a little ... I guess not ..... maybe that change in Rohan is going to come towards the end of the season 🤔

Of course, that would be in a perfect world. In real life, many people do get away with their masks and the benefits they bring along for a little time, if not long. Eh :P

@ bold: kinda sad but true

Thanks for the response Fatty (again feel free to correct me on your name😳) I really enjoyed reading your take on the episode - especially the things that didn't sit right with you .... it is always good to see the flip-side of the coin😃

Tasha, sure you can call me that (:

A recurring storyline in the second season...that would be lovely and definitely more insightful. Doesn't seem likely of course. Oh, well.
