Did Shoaib-Sania plan to get married today?

Is the Sania Mirza-Shoaib Malik wedding that's been in the news so much happening earlier than the announced date of April 15? Apparently, that was the plan but the nikah couldn't happen today (April 9) because Shoaib couldn't submit the papers necessary after the criminal case against him was closed. A qazi in the area where Sania lives in Hyderabad had been telling the press that the nikah between Sania and Shoaib would happen this evening at her house. It was being said that only Shoaib's mom and close relatives and Sania's family would attend the nikah. It was believed that the nikah was being kept so quiet because of all the controversy over Shoaib's marriage and subsequent divorce from Ayesha Siddiqui, who also lives in Hyderabad.

Later, one of Sania's relatives told the press that the marriage would not be taking place today but on April 15, as per the original plan.

It has only been two days since Shoaib divorced Ayesha, after days of speculation about whether he had married her in the first place. Ayesha had filed a police complaint against Shoaib, accusing him of harassment and fraud. She had said that they had gotten married in 2002, and that Shoaib had started distancing himself from her after he became famous. Following the divorce, she withdrew the complaint against Shoaib.
