DID Format needs change.

I think DID format needs modification. Mentoring and Judging should be separated. So we should have 3 mentors who are providing choreography and then 3 separate judges who provide comments on the performances. If judges are doing choreography then it's quite natural that they will be biased towards their choreography and their contestant.We probably don't need a grand master especially when grand master just repeats master's comments with different wordings and puts more effort on making fun of host or someone's English or family background.

Also masters shouldn't make comments like prop could have been used better or not used properly etc. We are judging dancers only and he/she should be judged on the basis of whether he/she did justice with the dance form he/she used. Contestants doesn't have any control on choreography and masters creates a negativity for contestant by making comments on choreography which is not in contestants control.

I totally agree!!! But dont think that this would happen. Coz Zee gets its TRPs coz of the mentor conflicts most of the times..and then there will be no controversies..Plus, Zee probably cant afford to pay 6 people + the GM 😕

I think DID Lil Masters is having htat format...Jai, Mayu/Vrushali, Dharmesh and Ammu are the mentors and TL, Geeta and Sandeep are the judges...I guess 😕 ...

Ya I agree, Zee's whole aim is making money and I don't think they really care about what they claim (finding the best dancer).

I absolutely agree with you!! That is what I have been saying and wanting ever since DID season 1!!!

It would completely kill the accusations of any masters being bias or any sort of unnecessary arguments and personal liking and disliking that the judges have right now!! 😊

But yup, SAS said it. Zee TV probably won't do that. They want to make maximum profit, not average!😕

i dont want that to happen, bc than it will be like every other dance show out there...i like it the way it is...bc than it would be like the judges would just yell all the time, like Farah khan does...

😃 I just hope that whatever format they select, I as a member of the general public still have my voting power........😃any format which would take away my voting right would be protested vehemently by me and those fellow members of the public like me......😃

i like the positive energy between the masters too..n the master wont like other choreographers criticizing their work...

Rajuji, that is good for TRP, but since DID 2 and for while in DID 1 also, the masters have been appreciating their own contestants and not so much positivity is given for the other team contestants who are even better... it has now become a race between the masters instead of finding out the best dancer... each one is promoting their contestant instead of finding out the real talent...
