SAS, I saw this thread only now, sorry!! So to clear a few things, I thought to post anyway...

Ramesh Gopi is a typical mallu name! I have said many times before that Remo is originally from Kerala... He himself has confirmed that.. He also mentioned that his father doesnt know Hindi well since he is from the South, and from his Mom's Hindi, I could make out she is from the South... I believe Rameshgopi is his first name - it can be a single name too like Radhakrishnan, Sunilkumar, anilkumar, Mohanlal, Gopikrishnan, etc etc (in Kerala, Kumar is not a last name but used as part of the first name)... So I believe D'souza is still his last name - I dont think he will change his last name like that.. And he is a Christian - he wears Rosary around his neck every week, and he likes to wear T-shirts with Jesus' picture... His wife's name is Lizelle...

@Angel - his wife was in the set that day - she was sitting in the audience and they showed her face several times during Remo getting the gift from Dada and his parents being brought as a surprise for him...

Di, I think he is a Christian, but since he mentioned that his dad was in airforce and I believe in Jaamnagar they have a base...hence the connection...
