Reading the posts here cheering on the sudden acknowledgement by Abhi that neither he or Simi have had a moment together and the willingness of Simi to actually spend time with him, I decided see the scene.
What Ado about nothing. Is that what all the hungama is about here😕. Guys that scene was so poorly written and performed, I was aghast. The sincerity level was about as real as a politican swearing "we have no new taxes." Give me a break. Talk about shoving this scene in to please us. Is that the best the creatives can do? If this is it? I'd rather not have anything. Please writers, don't insult my intelligence. You guys should all be fired from your jobs.
The person who should have been expressing their frustration that the marriage was not happening is Simi - yes, Simi. It shouldn't have been Abhi who was noticing that he was married and nothing was happening. Wasn't Simi the one in this show who desperately wanted to find someone in the beginning? Wasn't she the one who stood at the mandir praying for her knight in shinning armour?
Writers please don't insult us by throwing out more of your lame attempts of writing Simi and Abhi love scenes. Stick with the garbage you know best - love stories like Neetu and Omi - and leave us to conjure up better senarios with Abhi and Simi (Shanti, you saw what I can do, right? 😉).
So guys, while you pant away, I am going back to my sleep mode and when you (the creative team) have a scene with Simi begging Abhi for forgiveness, crying for him, putting him before her family - oh, and when I mean begging, I want her at his feet (think of when she was crying for Manju) - then call me, in the mean time, I recommend some books for you like The Idiots Guide to Creative Writing and Creative Writing for Dummies. I have copies of these books and will be glad to mail them.

Thanks. I am so glad you are not so gullible to buy into what has been done. Talk about a set up. I have seen this so often on KB; I can't believe no-one else can see it happening. Desperation and need takes away all sense of rationale.

Neetu/Sahanya, Why say you like the post when you write the complete opposite in another thread? Did you even read what I wrote? I don't think you did because you wouldn't have clicked like. I am not desperate or in need of you to click like to my posts. Honesty and sincerity matter far more to me.

Actually its True that Simi should be saying all that they are married and nothing is happening
but she is overwhelmed with all the problems in her life with her family she finally resorted to telling Abhi that i will give you one day to enjoy !!😆

The way she put it Kal ka din Humaray liye and baki kay 6 din Ghar ko bachanay kay liye
The emphasis of one day in my life kinda situation

But after this one day which she is giving /sparing Abhi from all the torture of her 12/24Kb pblm will she give more spare the air ( torture air 😆) I wonder🤔

And if somthing cooks up I am sure it will and she calls him a baccha or anything else i will get really annoyed 😡

It looks like she is doing some ahsaan on Abhi. OK, I give you one day and then we're going back to the issues in my life. Serious, it's like she's doing him some dumb ass favor. Then she sets the agenda of what they can do. It's not spontaneous as MeSimi pointed out in one of her posts. It's so forced on by both the writers and the characters. That's the reason why I really don't look forward to the episode. It's really sad to see how desperate everyone and are willing to take whatever the writers throw out - looks like they are doing some ahsaan on us. 😕
What would have been more natural and appealing would have been the episode where Abhi buys the bangles and then puts them on Simi. Looking the bangles Simi could have remarked, Abhi, you always think of me and I never think of you. All I do is think of my family and whenever I am sad, you cheer me up. You've always been there for me. In my anger I let you burn every precious gift you gave, this time it won't happen. I promise, when things calm down and you get a job it will be you and me..." Here you have acknowledgement of both the past, present and future.

Sweet dreams Laila. As for the problems in Simi's life Abhi knew what he was getting into. He told Guru Ji Simi's life is full of problems. Maybe the CV's are waiting for the finale to give us some real Simbhi romance. I just hope they remeber it was what drew many of us to the show in the first place.

Laila, I really like this part. Looks like the terrible writing on the show is bringing out the best in all of us 😃, last week it was Shanti with some fine writing!
But seriously, I also felt that the least Simi could do was to realise her doings and make the first move to accept this before Abhi and apologise and discuss how to make amends. While I don't expect that as a woman she would be comfortable bringing up the issue of first night, she can still talk about not spending time as man & wife, not giving him attention, not reciprocating his love and gestures properly etc.
Thank god for small mercies, at least she had the grace to accept it as her responsibility and apologise when Abhi mentioned it, rather than say Abhi tum bachche ho parivaar ki zimmedari nahin samajthe!

Thanks Bana. I think most of us can write better than the writers which is what is really aggravating some of us. I think what I wrote was very mediorce and was simply trying to make a point and the writers cannot even do something so simple. I don't expect Simi to talk about her first night with Abhi but it would be pretty amusing if you see her wonder about it and even desire to be intimate with her husband but doesn't know how to bring it up. Even if that cannot happen, why not at least have her talk about spending time with him - going out to have coffee, a walk, shopping, paying bills. The whole relationship is perhaps one of the worst I have ever seen and yet both characters were so well developed in the beginning that the writers failed to do justice with them
Yep, thank you for the small mercies but think of all the work that we all did on this forum to make it possible? That shouldn't have been necessary. It tells me a lot about the writing team (which are young women) and their overall level of maturity and life experience hence this poorly written drama.
