Guys this episode (5th April) was intense, emotionally.. nope!!!!! in stupidity? yes!!!!!!!!!!! Now they have decided to degrade a mother.
When the episode started, suddenly all the interns were focused as per the direction of Dr. Armaan on to Sid's mother. With Riddhima already sitting next to her. They invite her to a surprise party. Everyone goes to the cafe. Someone says "surprise!" Sid mom says "Toh tum log mujhay khush karna chahtey ho, yeh ghubaarey, yeh cake, yeh sab ideas puraney ho gaye hain" and she continue waving her hands "array agar mujhay khush karna hai to koi naya idea nikaalo, koi hutt ke " to which Yuvi responds "Oh Sh*T!", I thought the way she talked and walked she might ask for a bootle of booze and playing cards and suggest Strip Poker.
At this point the interns start to discuss their own bets. With Riddhima standing little further. Very sensitive touch!" they keep on arguing about Armaan and all this time the "aunty" keeps quiet. Till Armaan enters the room and looks at Riddhima, the poor girl is already standing there and the flashback comes on "tum zaroor meray pass aaogi, mera pyar tumhey mere pass le aaye ga.", although he came to her, I was wondering what would he say if she actually walks over to him???
They tell Armaan that the "aunty" is not happy with plain entertainment and then she whispers something in their ears and they go jumping around. Mind you these are the interns who worried to death in some scenes about Sid and Riddhima, "Sid ka kya hoga Riddhima ka kya hoga?"
Scene changes and the "aunty" takes the center stage. "Ab wohi hoga jo main karna chahoongi!", Armaan dares to ask "per kya". Aunty declares "COURT MARTIAL!" WOW, then she puts on a black coat, wants to act as a lawyer, and she announces "main tum logon ki niji (personal) zindagi ke barey main sawal poochoongi, aur tum sub ko sahi sahi jawab dena ho ga" (very appropriate topic for having fun) and then she wanted to give impression that it was a fun event, all the little boys and girls from the kindergarten are standing around her (Baccho aaj hum guday aur gudiya ka khel khalen gay). And after few bars of music, she decides that it would be "Armaan and Ridddhima" I was impressed that she gave a lot of thought process, and concluded that they should be the first one (Who else????). And suddenly a wave of concerns runs over the faces of all the interns, who about 10 seconds back were betting on them.
And after saying that out loud, she is waiting for their response, Armaan is as usual excited, Riddhima is as usual in tears and Sid appears in the background keeping his fingers crossed that Riddhima would not let him down. Since Sid joined the show in this season, I thought it would appropriate for him to listen to the actual love story for his own reference whether AR fans have created a hype about their love or it's a reality.
A mom in the presence of her grown up daughter is asking two grown up people to narrate their personal love story in front of their interns and hospital staff. Can you find such a noble situation. MINDBLOWING!!!
The "aunty" then tells Armaan to get into the chair and all others should take their seats. They have put chairs in the auditorium style and already few staff is sitting on them, and then, she walks to Armaan and assures him "chinta na karna, main teri party main hoon". "Yeh khel khatum hotay hotay Ridhimma teri baahon main hogi", What a choice of words for a mother to his son's colleague. It reminded me of movies like Namkeen, Amar Prem, Umrao Jan-e-Ada. I was relieved that she stopped at this point and Armaan believes her in totality.
Then she invites Riddhima and "real" humor is added by Armaan by telling her last name. Sid all this times stands behind Riddhima, in the same frame, giving looks as a "Bouncer", Riddhima takes her seat and the "aunt" winks at Armaan (very motherlike wink!!!). My observation is that, recently, Sid started to behave like a keen parent who is always there to see how does his daugther performs in interviews, race, debates and wants to see her strong and confident. In this case he is grooming Riddhima.
Watching Brian Lara score 400 hundred was no historical event than to witness the scene which takes place once in 75000 episodes, where a married woman is asked to sit in the chair of a cafeteria, her ex-lover opposite to her and the husband sits with others in the audience with interns and hospital staff. Mom is chairing this fun court in a public place in the presence of her grown up daughter and son, waiting to hear their juicy love story!! all in the name of fun.
Does Sid mom looked stressed, is she bed-ridden on oxygen and a heart monitor attached, would she collapse and die on spot if Riddhima walks out on her, would Sid divorce her if she refuses to pose as Armaan's wife. Can Sid not see the humilation Riddhima is going through. Can Armaan not feel how this is going to humilate Riddhima? The interns can't they feel what is going on. Is this a mental hospital's ward???
"Order! Order! karwai shru ki jai", and JP and Jiggy get up and act, prolly this was the thing she whispered in their ears. But then why did they look worried in the scene earlier. The scene was made interesting by spliting the oath between Armaan and Riddhima. This scene may be added to hollywood archives for training of new actors.
The first question put to Armaan was like asking a salesman to promote his product. All the junior interns started commenting, and when he said "humari pehli mulaaqaat jagharey ke saath shroo hui thee" and Sid thinks about his jhagra in flashback and possibly "oh! no! this is her standard act!"
As I mentioned in my last post that they have enough material to show flashbacks for the next whole year. If you look at the young boys standing in the court where Armaan is training, they appear to be these interns, who have grown taller now.
I was thinking if she had more ex-lovers sitting in the same cafeteria, they would have shown a flashback one for each as to how they fought in the basket ball court. Today, luckily thay were only two flashback tracks running end to end.. Out of the world!
Then the aunty asks "Riddhima yeh batao ke ye succh hai ke nahin". Armaan is so happy and playful and still cannot feel her humilation. What makes him think that he is going earn her respect and get his love back. At this stage to further dramatise, camera pans around and those interns who were so excited about this story were again worried and hiding their faces, except for Sid cause he was busy assessing/supporting Riddhima.
Then aunty continues "ke yeh bataye ke baat pyar se takraar tak kaisay poonchi." Wow! aunty is getting graphic but she was decent enough not to drool over the thought. I started to think as up to what details she going to stop. Then they a ran a complimentary flashback for Sid in the Bus. Armaan then tells about the trip to Medical city visit and Riddhima possibly suffered from hypothermia earlier also as Armaan carries her and lays her down next to the fire. I am glad he did not ask Dr. Atul else Armaan would have been married to Riddhima much earlier. To which the interns who were so worried started whistling lecherously (feeling Riddhimas pain) . And Sid looks at them as a father would stop his kids from whistling. Point to note here is that the mom who is so intelligent and playful to get Armaan and Riddhima together is completely ignorant of the fact in that she fails to observe that Naina and Yuvi are always together as love birds and she wants Sid to marry Naina. Naina whom Sid wants to help, passes comments on deedi Riddhima. Sid has best of friends, best mom, best sister and best wife in this whole world; in fact best of everything except the storyline.
Now as Armaan explains his interaction with Riddhima but with his looks it appears that he his doing his best to humilate her by enjoying every moment of recall, as they say "mazay lay lay kar sunna raha tha!" in front of everyone. And what Armaan is saying about Riddhima, Sid is quickly comparing his notes in the flashback, even the dupatta scene. Now you can say Sid and Armaan are in fierce competition, wicked!!!! Jhagara scene at the basket ball court, carrying her and laying her next to the fire, (almost hypothermia like scene,) two dupatta scenes each in the flashback. Both got the wind in their scenes, and even in the cafeteria too. Score 5-5. Match is even so far.
By now Sid should be clear his SR track was based on the same script and scenes as AR in DMG1. I am sure after comparing his flashbacks with Armaan he may be thinking my love has an equal chance.

Now even Armaan, Riddhima and Sid started to talk about the on coming shows Geet and Geet hui sab se praayee and Rang badlati Orhni. (while their own serial is going on), I could not stop laughing. If they keep on showing the flashbacks, then why should they pay the lead actors. Someone must have said, since we are paying them, aur acting to kar nahin rahey hain, get them to do this also. You never know they would be cleaning the offices and washing the cars too (after all they made Megan Fox do it too).
As Armaan was on his dupatta fetish, Sid Mom was strictly in her stupidity mode, doing anaysis about their love story and said the golden words "pyaar kya hota hai ye tujh se pehlay teray duppatay ko pata chala" this dialog reminded me of doggy's love (dog owner's would know!), your leg comes to know about it first.. and then taunts her "tu toh bari slow nikli Riddhima" in front of the young kids with her son and daughter sitting in the audience, An exceptionally honorable noble remark. I was expecting she would say jab main tumhari umar ki thi toh... tell the kids about her achievements in short time.(Gone in 60 seconds!!)
Finally, Riddhima gets up to leave and aunts asks her to stay back as if Riddhima is spoiling her fun. "Array array tu kahan ja rahi hai" and the ads comes in of upcoming shows. Is she going to those shows?
Mom insists that Riddhima should stay back and let the fun continue. After all they come to the hospital to have fun. Su also realises "Sid mom ko manna karo". Mom continues to demand Riddhima to stay back in a very rude tone. Riddhima looks up at Sid. Sid is probably thinking "agar Mom ko manna kya toh kahin stress se marr na jaye!"
PreCap shows Riddhioma has finally told Armaan, (she kept her head down in shame!! because Sid has proven to be a bad choice) but a sati savitiri does not take his name insteads points her finger at him (blaming!!!), which is decent enough and in vogue. If you recall a similar scene from KKKG where Kareena asks Sharukh's som tum ko yeh papa nay sikhaya hai?' He points his finger toward Hritik and says "uss nay"
