Agree CHarmz that TL would have pushed D beyond his limitations and made him do things out of his comfort zone...Than again teachers can only do so much...It all depends upon student how much he is willing to learn and stretch himself beyond his comfort zone...

To add if mentors keep calling D SIR than they are indirectly giving mix messages....not setting proper boundries...There are different ways to show respect to D as he is sir to the students he teaches...but here he is merely a contestant-pupil and mentors are his gurus...
Too bad he yet has not been able to showcase his versatality...
The whole "sir" calling definitely sends mix messages. I REALLY wish everyone would stop calling him D sir. "Sir" is for his students. It just sounds so weird when you hear the masters saying Dharmesh Sir. He calls them Sir and Ma'am, that's how it is supposed to be! lol
But yes, a Mentor/Teacher can only do so much, it is up to the student to take and give it all they got. I don't doubt ANY contestant on DID when it comes to their full efforts being put in place. I am sure all the contestants have that strive to learn more and more and do things beyond their imagination. That is what a huge stage like DID is for! 😊
