Ridz, once the most adorable character, but today, the most damaged character… Also valued for the reserved qualities to the entire world but with an extroverted behaviour to Armaan alone, which emphasized her intimate luv for Armaan, n the warmth n comfort, she realized when that one person was near her, the solace she felt when that person stayed closer to her…The uniqueness of Ridz character is this feature of hers which was beautifully portrayed all these days (DMG 1) has lost its beauty…
Ridz's mind which felt n recognized that one person's luv for her was one of the beautifying parts of the character… The time she took for accepting Armaan into his life was adorable… N her hesitation, though she luvd him, the way she felt scared of this new change, everything added to the beauty of her character… Her respect for elders n luv for kids, the calm approach, the way she stood with Armaan to win their luv n to step into the next stage of life… Everything was like a serene picturesque of nature emboldening the life of luv…
So this character got entangled in the tussle of life n has met with so many unpleasant circumstantial changes… (Well, am not pleased with the way, the social issue was handled… About questioning the virtuous character of a woman n the further track…) As of the current situation, how would a person react?
As for my understanding, any one of three options is possible with or without consciousness…
- That her mind, with or without her knowledge has found comfort in her hubby, who stood by her side, when she was in misery… After realizing that Armaan left her life, her mind inclined to him, accepting his words, speaking to him with openness… N her angered words, "What kind of hubby you are?" suits this option...
- That she felt nothing about/for her wedding… Her luv for Armaan is etched in her heart n is intact like before… N now she feels an inclination to Armaan that now he is back… Though wedded, she only feels a gratitude for Sid n see a good friend in him… (If this is the case, then it should be made explicit…) N the way she stood entranced in Armaan's hold suits this option…
- The circumstantial blow has brought hatred for/towards life, that she hates everything/everyone around n stays away from both of them n every others…
As for Ridz, she does not fall under any of these three cadres… She does get lost in Armaan's eye lock n also moves closer with Sid… A practically impossible move for a girl like Ridz, whose inner voice would definitely guide her… (She is that girl who tried some western outfits with blush n hesitation, when the whole house was empty…) N her inner voice can pronounce to her, whom her heart seeks or if it hates both… Ridz, a simple minded luvly character has lost its originality n the purity of that character is getting tainted…
P.S : The character Draupadi married to five brothers, The Pandavas, in the epic Mahabharata, raises the query about her virtuousness n her luv for the Pandavas… Certain acts are unexplainable which is why she is referred to an incarnation of eight Goddesses as per Hindu scriptures… Draupadi's luv for the pandavas is justifiable, as the scriptures say she is Goddess incarnation… Well Ridz is a human being…
