Season 1 Contestants are better!!!!

Honestly, watching both seasons perform today I just felt that Season 1's dancers faired better than Season 2's.

I just HAVE to say that Prince is seriously unreal! It wasnt a good idea for Dharmesh to dance with him becasue Prince completely outdid and overshadowed Dharmesh and put him in his place! Dharmesh actually looked like a weak dancer in front of Prince. That says A LOT because most people think Dharmesh is the best dancer of the season. Sorry but I laughed a little at Dharmesh. He seemed to much of a wannabe and Prince was natural!!!!

The performance's themselves.....

Mayuresh- Binny
Both danced well........I felt Mayuresh was more graceful and had more of a finish than Binny. Binny seemed too amateurish to me!!! Mayuresh had more screen presense and personality in his dancing. Binny was bland!..........I would rate this 6/10

Prince- Saajan
Saajan was NO MATCH for Prince! Whoever named Prince, gave him the right name! He's really the prince of hip-hop. His moves are SO hard-hitting, clean, sharp, intense and fluid. Its UNREAL. He's the only person from both season who could even compete in international shows! Where hip-hop is concerned! Im giving his performance 8/10 only for prince. Sorry Saajan was a disappointment as usual.


Jai-Shakti
IMO this was the worst act of the day! How many times is Shakti going to do contemporary movements in her performances? She's already done the jump kick and the splits a million times. Seriously she and terence needs to get her act together! This act was a huge disappointment for me. I remember when everyone was crying cuz Jai was out last year. Shakti and Jai are capable of SO MUCH MORE. I would give this 4/10!

Alisha-Amar
Again, My focus was ONLY on Alisha! Damn this girl is good! Loved her expressions and whatever choreography she got she did well. Amar was good, but I do feel Alisha had the edge! 7/10 For Alisha!

Sunita-Amrita.
I felt Amrita was better ....But thats Sunita isn't that great!!!...If Khushboo or Bhavna from last year came then maybe it would've been more interesting. I didnt find anything new or innovative about the performance so I'll give it 6/10.


Dharmesh-Siddesh
Overrated performance. They both were good. Dharmesh was better in some parts and Sidd was better in some parts. But IMO it didnt deserve POTD, It wasnt THAT great. I would give it 7/10

Salman- Punit
Im sorry was it just me or did Punit seem like a follower in this performance? He reminded me of when little kids follow their parents and pretend to dance like them. Honestly it seemed like he was in rehersal and just copying Salman.....Epic Fail! LMAO..........I didnt even notice Punit!....... Good for Punit he has a dipolma in dance but he has not screen presense and nothing about him stands out. Complete opposite of Salman......Sorry this is a 6/10.


Most of Season 2's dancers seemed like amateurs and wannabe's! Prince alone is better than everyone and dancers like Mayuresh, Salman, Alisha, Jai and Siddesh are just extremely strong and talented dancers!

I remember all the judges were saying that Season 2 contestants are better than 1st.......Clearly thats not true.

I agree. DID 1 contestants did a lot better than DID2 contestants in following pairs.

Prince was so awesome today! He definitely grew up from last year!

I also (like peace said) agree with your comments, except for D and Sid. I really loved their performance today. It was so much fun to watch and had amazing choreography and acting aspects. They both burnt the stage today.

Mayuresh and Binny --> Equal for me. They both complimented each other and did very well.

Sunita and Amrita --> Amrita completely outshined Sunita (but she was good today), which i am not surprised about.

Alisha & Amar --> I love Amar, and i cant compare them. Alisha is the strongest female dancer DID 1 & 2 combined.

Jai & Shakti --> Versatility wise, Jai definitely is stronger then Shakti, but Shakti rocks Contemporary.

Prince & Dharmesh --> Prince is the prince of pop & lock, and Dharmesh is the master of beat & rhythm dancing so I can't compare them.

Siddesh & Dharmesh --> Love Sid! But again, I can't compare them. However, for me Siddesh is very versatile, but Dharmesh is awesome in his hip hop style.

Prince & Saajan --> Prince is definitely better then Saajan. I feel like Saajan is more of a freestyle bboy dancer. He has a tougher time doing choreographed routines. Either way, Saajan is awesome at bboying.

Salman & Punit --> Salman is a very very strong and versatile dancer. He is just simply amazing. I agree with Bunty that Punit was more of the follower in this routine. Punit hasn't impressed me.

just a clarification....what shakti and jai did was jazz funk....not contemporary.....and jazz has a lot of extensions and high kicks....every style shakti does is not contemporary.... :)

i did feel prince, siddesh, mayuresh were better than their partners....dharmesh was good no doubt...

amrita seemed definitely better than sunita....

Wow that was really bad jazz-funk. It shouldnt be that contemporary-like haha....
