Member topic: What do you do on weekends?
She traced his eyes to see the prey of his anger and her gaze landed on the freaks that had been scanning her the entire time. As realization dawn her, she looked back at him and couldn't help herself from letting out a slight grin.
Prem gave them a look which told them this property was not to be messed with. It was his and if their laid their sick on her once again, they would end up in severe condition at a hospital, if not hell.
The guys got the message and seeing how well built Prem was, they decided that it would be best for their flesh and bones if they kept a great distance away from him. One by one, they moved to the extreme other end of the airport to save themselves.
Seeing them leave, Prem put his attention back onto the girl. He noticed the closeness that he had formed and instantly, yet reluctantly, took his arm off her shoulder. He sat up straight and looked at her apologetically. He saw her looking at him with a confused expression so he decided to explain.
"Sorry. Mai sirf madat kar raha tha. Seriously. I didn't mean anything else." Prem confess in a soft tone. His eyes clearly reflected his honesty.
And that just made her break out a smile. Prem saw the smile and understood that she forgave him. He smiled back and made himself comfortable in the chair next to her.
"It's okay." Heer assured him. She put her attention onto her purse and pulled out her phone and started fiddling with it.
::
"This is so boring. I swear if I stay here for another minute or so, I'll start puking." Prem mumbled out.
Heer looked at him and rolled her eyes. She switched her gaze to the large glass window and simply watched outside.
The scenery outside took her breath away. She had never seen such a place in her entire lifetime. The rain had stopped following outside. The vibrate colors if the green trees, the precisely cut straws of grass, and the soft glow of the sun that itched its way through the thick black clouds made the scene ever more mesmerizing.
She simply stared and a smile formed on her lips. The true beauty of the place had captured her heart as she longed to see more of the city.
Prem simply stared at the features that she carved up on her face. Bright eyes, soft nose, smooth and chubby cheeks, pink lips, and a radiant glow were the aspects that made him catch his breath. She was busy admiring the true beauty of the city. But if anybody asked him, he would find her to be the only one to inhibit true beauty. True beauty that reflected her soft heart and her clean soul. And he was sure, the beauty that he was admiring was nothing compared to the beauty she was admiring.
But to his dismay, a loud announcement had him snap out of his admiration stance.
"Even though the storm had cleared out in this area, there will be a severe delay in the flight boarding and take off. During the flight, the storm had caused tremendous damage to the engines of the plane and it will take over a course of 24 hours to get the problem fixed. We are extremely sorry for this delay. But all passengers will be provided with a room for the night at Hotel Adler."
Throughout the entire announcement, loud groans were heard all throughout the airport by the passengers.
Heer signed deeply. She had been to places around the world. But she had never gone alone. She always had her mom or dad by her side. However, today, she was alone in a city she was alien to and she had to spend a night. Above all, she was gripped by an unknown fear.
He saw the fear take control of her. But there was barely anything he could do to help her. Or maybe, Prem looked outside as an idea hit him; there was something that he could do to cheer her up.
He slowly got up and held out his hand in front of her.
She saw him get up and another fear hit her. Somehow she felt safe was he was near her. Seeing him get up, she felt as if she had lost that protecting barrier.
He smiled at her as she stared blankly at his extended hand.
"Chalo kahi ghoom kar aate hai." Prem offered her with a smile. Heer gave him a looked of disbelief.
"Abhi sirf do baje hai. Baarish bhi ruk gayi hai. Abb kya yehi bethne ka irada hai kya?" Prem questioned her.
Heer looked at him. He was offering her to go with him. Did he even know what he was saying? She was tempted to explore the beauty of the city. But with a stranger? That too one who was a flirt?
Prem could easily read the question erupting inside her mind.
"You can trust me." He said in a low whisper. Heer could easily read the honesty in his eyes.
But still, she couldn't decide for sure.
Getting no reaction from her, he took back his hand.
"Aggar anna ho toh aa jaana. Lekin aggar rukna ho, toh dusre ladko se door rehna. Sab mere jitney acche nahi hote." Prem said with a smirk on his face. But he was warning her of all the dangers. He really wanted her to be with him. At least then, he would rest assure that she was in safe hands. And then the bugging question came back into his mind. Why was he so protective of her? Who was she to him? Why did it hurt him when others laid their filthy eyes to her pure existence? And most of all, why the hell did he care about this stranger?
He signed and started to go towards the exit. Most of the passengers also headed towards visiting the city.
As Prem walked out of the airport, he called for a taxi. He had been here several times for vacations during his high school breaks. To him, this place was the most beautiful place on the entire globe. Not just the natural beauty, but the sweet atmosphere and the rhythmic winds gave him the most pleasure. This joy would only be doubled by her being with him. But to his dismay, she declined his offer.
As the taxi pulled up in front of him, Prem approached his hand to open the door. But before he could open it, he felt a delicate hand grab hold of the handle before him. And when he looked up, his heart jumped in joy of seeing her there.
What he said last struck her. Prem was right. She did feel safe around him. And if she had to go to New York in one piece, she decided that it would be best for her to go with him. Before she approached her steps to follow him, she made a silent prayer to the one above.
"I hope he doesn't break my trust." Heer prayed.
::
A large smile formed on his face upon seeing her there.
"So? Finally Ms. Mussibat accepted defeat." Prem asked her.
Heer looked at him trying her best not to smile back.
"Never! I just felt sorry for you. I didn't want you to have no one to flirt with?" Heer replied.
"Nice to know that you care." Prem said. And that did it. Heer let out the smile and shuck her head.
"Abb chalo bhi. Mujhe taxi se nahi, chal kar sab dekhna hai." Heer grabbed a hold of his hand. Prem felt as if a shockwave whizzed through him upon her touch.
"Arre lekin-" Prem couldn't say anything further as she dragged him along with her.

They both walked side by side on the side walk along the busy roads. The feel of the atmosphere was cool, smooth, and extra comfortable. The wind flowed serenely through her long tresses and his short, gelled spikes. While admiring the surrounding beauty, they took glances of each other from time to time, without letting the other one notice.
Prem noticed that the white colored polo shirt suited well with her complexion. She was holding onto her shawl with one hand and her handbag was on her shoulder. Yes, she was a true beauty. And before any other thought could invade his mind, he came to a conclusion. He was in love. He was in love with her. He'..loved'..Ms.Mussibat!
Heer had stolen glances from him as well. She had noticed the way he walked in a casual way. He eyes glittered when he scanned then around to admire the scenery. The yellow colored t-shirt made his skin glow. The jeans he had on matched the color of her own. His hair was cut short, but he had it gelled up to give him a smart and sharp look. But what she liked the most about him were her russet colored eyes which made her drown in them.
Woooooh! What the heck was she doing? Admiring a guy who she barely knew about? Appreciating the looks of the guy who had been flirting with her? But then again, what was it that she felt when she looked at him? Why did she feel safe around him? Why did her heart trust him so much? What was this feeling that had erupted in her heart for the very first time?

For a while, silence had taken up. But curiosity got him to ask her.
"Abb toh hum dono dost haina? Abb kya mujhe aapka naam jaan ne ko milega?" Prem asked her.
Heer smiled at him and answered.
"Heer. Heer Mann." Heer informed him. Prem almost stopped in his tracks upon hearing her name. It was the most beautiful name he had ever heard. And it perfectly suited her.
"Ek baat kahu?" Heer asked hesitantly. Prem nodded.
"Mujhe tumhara naam bhi bahot pasand hai. Kisne rakha?" Heer asked.
"Meri maa ne." Prem confessed, rather sadly. The entire time, he had completely forgotten about the tensions that had been built up between his parents. Heer noticed a shadow of sadness took over his face.
"Kya hua?" Heer asked softly.
"Kuch nahi." Prem answered putting on a fake smile on his face which Heer instantly caught.
"Pata hai. Mere bauji hamesha kehte hai. Khushi baatne se badti hai. Aur dukh baatne se kam hota hai. Tumne hi kaha tha naa ke hum dost hai. Dost ko nahi batao ge?" Heer asked him sweetly. Prem was shocked to hear that from her. No one had ever cared so much to ease his pain. But yes, she was right. A friend deserved to know.
As they strolled their way down the streets of the city, he let out his heart.....to her!
