Twist can be that all this is Sids plan to reunite AR.
To justify what Sid is doing now CVs will show the following in the coming episodes.

- maybe they show something like when Sid went to Nainas house to meet Ridhimma he overheard Naina and Ridhimma speak about Armaan coming bak and Ridhima sayin that she still loves Armaan.
SO sid goes back home without meeting her and thinks that if he tells ridhima to end their marriage and go back to Armaan she wont agree as she will think abt her parents again. SId plans all this drama to get AR together once again.

This is just my prediction for the coming episodes.

i would love to see this prediction come true .hopefully writers do think the same .otherwise this show is gone down to the drain as of today episode ...

I honestly don't think so, Maybe I dont know anymore!

sid didn't plan like that. He just wanted to see who would ridhima pick?
