What is the problem with Sid's mom ?

I really failed to understand character of Sid's mom..

First of all she didn't care much abt sid and his sister 4 so many years and now that she has come back she is trying to take total control of his life. Also if she has stayed away from him 4 so long then why now she is so desprate to stay with him that she is faking sickness to stay near Sid. Also her nature of giving un-solicited advices to everybody if just not bearable and her attitude towards Ridz speaks volumes abt her nature.

What do u guys think of her ?

I know she's always interfering in ridzs buissness and gives all this lecture about how good women do this that and what about her daughter

So now she is also the reason Ridz can't tell Armaan she is married.

in a way she is nice and sometimes over the water level...she is so possesive..i am sure wen she knows the truth of ridz sid..she will be so guilty!

aisi hoti hai Houston ke indian mamas? I mean the whole mannerism of this lady is so complex and undefinable. Her ideals, ways of doing thing, considerations everything looks like she's just come out of some typical curry soap. How i wish the old times are back when there was no negativity. This character is so weird and im so clueless lol meri desi aussie mom bhi inse achhi hain! I can understand that modern moms give their children a bit of space (even though this is a stereotype) but which mom does this? Is she not considerate? From what angle does riddhima gupta look like a vamp to her???
