How do you address yourself? Hum or Main

i use main
never used hum, it's too formal. Vin u use hum😲i thought it was only abha who uses it😆

i use hum..everyone in my family does! 😆 ....my mom has taught me since childhood that we must address ourselves as 'hum'....

using "main" or "hum" to address ourself depends upon the ares in india....
as in Bihar and some of the places of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh ........most of the people use Hum instead of Main......

I am originally from UP though born and brought up in Calcutta..so i use 'Hum'

Hum(the plural form) is commonly used by the rolyalty............I'm a malayali(who ironically belongs 2 the travancore royal family), so I guess I should be using "hum" 😆 😆 But as 4 now, only "main" comes 2 me...........

Hum.Agree with u I stayed in UP and Lucknow were most people address themselves as Hum
