I agree with you. The world would be a much better place if we would "Live and Let Live" (on the political, religious, personal fronts). Some people connect with Dharmesh more, and some with Shakti. Both have their strengths, and both have their weaknesses.Ultimately, it doesn't even matter who wins - Like ALL reality shows. Take it for what it is - entertainment. All the contestants get to add this to their life experience/repertoire. I don't think being 5th place or 1st make matters. If someone is looking for talent - whether the contestant finishes in #1 position is completely irrelevant. On a similar note, I highly doubt that Shakti or Dharmesh would be sought out for opportunities outside of their strengths - so all this talk of versatility, in the large scheme of things, is also somewhat irrelevant.I think the reason for the anti-Shakti viewpoints was that she was one of the few who, initially, was constantly given dances in her area of expertise, wheareas everyone else was expected to step outside of that comfort zone - but that was not necessarily her "fault" - Terence shines in this area, so it was a lucky pairing. Even if, for sake of discussion, say she IS versatile, I don't think she'll be getting opportunities for Bharatnatyam, or Hip hop - since there are people on the panel who would fare much better.Peace!
WOW! I could not have said all that any better! You said it perfectly! I am so glad that someone finally agrees with me!!! THANK YOU!!!! 😃
