Well, for some people Armaan is always wrong, no matter what he does. Yes, Sid's mom said that she will help him get close to Riddhima, but you conveniently forgot what she said about trying to get her son back. Please look at the whole picture first.

I guess many people in this forum have shouted themselves hoarse in the process of reminding everyone that Armaan is "NOT" aware of Riddhima's marital status...so until he knows the truth, you cannot blame him for running after someone's wife. If we later see him running after her even after knowing that she's married, then it's perfectly fair to castigate him.

You also mentioned that Sid's mom was shouting at Ridz and throwing tantrums.......but Armaan wasn't there at that point of time.....it was her son who was standing there. As a doctor himself, he could have also told her to shut up.

I see how one can come to your conclusion about Armaan and his selfish act but if you scrap the surface a little deeper you will see that Armaan is in the shadow here, him admitting Sid's mom is to help Sid's mom out solve her problems with her son and this act is a sign of a symbiotic relationship where Armaan thinks he is doing a good deed by helping Sid and his mom out and in the process he believes that may be his problem with Ridz will be solved a little...little does he know that the entire world is keeping him in the dark.
