I 110% sure he is not rich. If he was then why weren't his parents able to pay for dance lessons. Also, the clothes his Mom was wearing when she came were really inexpensive (plus he would probably know how to speak english...

This question is ill conceived. Nobody needs to win. Everyone wants to. The real question is who deserves to win.

My dad's town from india is all rajputs & they're all "alright" economically.
Not rich but not super poor either. Though, i have given clothes before to a poor family there.


Plus, isnt Amar's dad a police officer?
He must make a decent amount of money...

I dont think the topic starter means that the person who needs to win the most will win...she's just saying that who will benefit more economically if they won. At least, that was my interpretation.

Yes, I agree with you but I just wanted to see what people would think if the competition was based on who NEEDED the money the most (because in some shows it seems like that is how people vote)

At this point, it really won't matter who wins because they all have received so much exposure through this DID stage, that they will surely have some upcoming gigs. Look at DID 1 contestants from last year. They are performing at shows and are involved in this entertainment biz, even the ones who did not make top 6. 😊
