Dialogue Male and Female of the Fortnight

HAILA! What a fortnight eh? How many times did we have Manav stand up for Archana?! HURRAY *doing a victory dance* (giggle)' welp, we had quite a few good dialogues this fortnight, so here goes.
Ek baat kaan khol ke sunlo, na hi yeh mere liye parayi aurat hain, na hi main iske liye paraya mard, ham dono pati patni hain, aur tab tak pati patni rahenge jab tak ki hamara talaak nahi ho jata - Manav
OH MY GOODNESSS!!! Did anyone else jump out their seats with sheer joy when you saw Manav stand up for Archana like that?!! YIIPPPPEEE!!! That Shravini really needed a telling, and boy oh boy, Manav hit the nail right on the head :) UFF! Manav and Archana were already so frustrated with the situation surrounding Vandu, and yeh lo, a tapki Shravini (slaps hand on head). I couldn't have imagined anyone else putting Shravini in her place like Manav did.
Varshu, main sach keh rahi hoon, main manav ke saat apne liye nahi rehna chahti , main unke saat unke liye rehna chahti hoon, woh bohut takleef mein hain varshu, unhe meri saat ki bohut zaroorat hain - Archana
The last two dialogues come from the scene mid-fortnight after Archana leaves the Deshmukh house. I personally thought these were two dialogues that are the epitome of ArMan's love! They know they are each other's back-bone! It is their faith in each other that allows them to hang on and carry on with courage. I especially loved Manav's dialogue because he knows that with Archana in his life, no situation could ever faze him.
Star Male and Female of the Fortnight
Star Male: Manav stands out for me this fortnight, he is defending Archu and I love it when he defends her in front of choo... he has also been calling Archu his "wife" and its sounding soo good ... Manav is proving to be the perfect brother by tolerating Ajit so that he wont abuse Vandu.... but his efforts failed... but never the less he wants to do everything to make Vandus life more comfortable ... the best part was when Manav said to Archu that he knew her more than herself ... that was such an emotional moment ....
Star Female: There were many outstanding females this fortnight ... first of all we have Vandu, she sacrificed her future to save her families reputation, and then we have Archu, she takes a stand and goes to the MS, she is supporting Manav through thick and thin and she is slowly winning Aai over, this is certainly to perfect package... and last but not least we have Varshu, she is someone who can stand up to anyone without fear... and she was definitely fearless this fortnight ... she is standing up to RA and also warning her too ... and I too think that Varshu will be in this section next fortnight
Star Actor and Actress of the Fortnight

Star Actor: Admittedly, he doesn't do very much, but he should be recognized for the way he portrays his character without excess drama; this person doesn't even have his name listed on India-Forums, but it is the artist who portrays Vishwasrao Deshmukh also known as Kaka! He rarely has dialogues and he doesn't do much aside from the occasional "SAVITA!" when she does something mean, but he does make his presence noted. There are no standout scenes or moments, but "Kaka" (he will be referred to as such due to the lack of his name) provides solidarity to anything going on in an exceptional manner. He plays his part of a background character well, and he should be recognized for doing so since the beginning of the show, thus this spot goes to Kaka.
Star Actress: The Star Actor of the Fortnight Female goes to the woman who portrays a character that is very confident, relatable, and progressive, its Priya Marathe who plays Varsha Karanjkar! Priya completely embodies her character in every scene. This was especially noted near the end of the fortnight when she decided to take on Rasika; the parts in the Mahila Samiti office were done in a superb fashion by Priya. Her character seems so real, she leaves no room for one to believe otherwise. Her expressions, tough and attitude-filled when around the Lokhandes, compassionate around Archana and Manav, and generally soft around Satish, create a very reasonable character that almost any young (or elder) adult can relate to. She has been performing well throughout the course of the show thus far, and thus this spot goes to Priya Marathe.
ArMan Sequence of the Fortnight

The ArMan scene of this fortnight was the sequence between Manav and Archana when Manav confessed to Archana about the garage. He simply couldn't lie to her or hide his tears from her- it was a perfectly emoted scene of a helpless man finding his solace and strength in his wife, his love. Archana -his better half, was brilliant too, as the wife who wishes to support her husband in his bad times.The longing in their eyes, their helplessness, the way they held hands for strength- it was all perfect. Archana's words were very true indeed- they may not be together during their good times, but are always together in their bad days. Perhaps that is what it means to be an ideal couple. Perhaps that is what it means to be ArMan
Best Family Scene of the Fortnight

Mr. and Ms. Head Turner [Style Icon] of the Fortnight

Mr. Head Turner: Since we didn't get to see much of the other men, besides Manav this fortnight, the obvious winner is MANAVV!! :D Not only because we saw most of Manav, but also because he really did have some new and decent shirts this fortnight! YAY for the red checked shirt?! Sushant pulls off Manav's character with incredible ease and the clothes he wears only adds to the rusty, unpolished feel of Manav.
Ms. Head Turner: As is with every time, all the women looked GORGEOUS this fortnight! But the one to standout the most was definitely Vandita! Her transformation from a simple college girl to a married woman is stunning! The sarees she wears accentuates her figure perfectly, and the colors are so flattering (especially that blue ' BEAUTIFUL). Vandita is the clear winner this fortnight (ahem, in sense of clothing that is :D)
World of Archana and Manav

Once upon a tale...
It was the time of twilight in Mumbai; the time when the sun debates whether it should set and let the moon rise or just stand still and provide the entire being with its luminous rays of light. Any other city would be half- tucked into bed by this time, but not Mumbai. This is a place where life makes constant movement through the day'and also through the night. Whether those movements were for the good or for the bad'no one knew but the ultimate being himself.
This is a story about a little girl that grew up here, she had dreamt of a fairy tale life. As she grew, her dream had turned into a tale'she herself was a character within this beautiful story. A life with parents that loved her tremendously, sisters who treated her like a role model, a brother who put himself before anything and everything to protect them, and a lover who would just about jump off a cliff at her wish.
One thing God forgot to write in her tale was a long life. A minor editing error and her whole life had turned upside down.
-Flash back-
"I'm pregnant!" They had been ecstatic after hearing the news about Archana's pregnancy. What could be a better way to enforce their live than having a child whom everyone could cherish? Being a patient of anorexia nervosa, Archana had to put her life in danger for the baby. But she wanted to do it, mostly for him. He had always been one that wanted a child; one that would brighten the house with her voice, one with a smile that could make even the saddest frown upside down. It was Archana's honor to give him what he had always dreamt of.
Her disorder was something only she knew, no one in the family knew about it, not even him. Because Archana knew that if everyone found out, they would go against this decision of having the baby. That's why Archana had requested the doctor to keep this fact hidden, and with the patient's consent'the secret was kept a secret from everyone. Only she knew how her body was suffering over the days. It was giving up on her; Archana knew that it was between her life and his dream.
The day of the birth had come, the family knew no bounds to their joy, they were going to get a little living, breathing symbol of love. Love that had passed even the worst of the obstacles. As the delivery had gone through, everyone had patiently but nervously stood outside the operating room waiting for the doctor to come. When they heard a scream followed by a low cry, they knew that the child was born. He was crying tears of joy. As the doctor walked out with the baby, it was worrying to see her somber face.
Hearing the news had felt like someone had just sucked away all the air out of the earth. At that moment, all that was thought was 'Archana is dying'. Running into the room, he saw how pale she had become, the site of her limp body was pulling his heart. "Take care of our love, I want my daughter to have the life I've always wanted'I love you." With her last wish conveyed, Archana took her last breath and bid adieu.
-6 months later-
Manav was sitting at the mandap, because of the promise he had made to her. He was about to begin a new relationship for the sake of his daughter. He had named her "Sapna" because she was their dream. Their wish. As the pandit chanted the holy prayers, Manav had made a new promise. He would give his daughter the fairy tale life that Archana had wanted. Never would he look at her as a trade for his love, because in his daughter lived Archana. He would be the base for new relationships, he would protect his daughter and his wife from the evil eye. Whatever the case, he will never forget the love he has for Archana.

"Their sacrifice will be remembered by the generations that follow, as the epitome of love." It was the perfect story to Sapna's next tale. What could be better to write about than the sole reason for her existance?

Expectations for next Fortnight

For the next fortnight, Zee TV's new promo shows that there will be a reception for Ajit-Vandita's marriage in which Rasika will throw ghungroos at Savita and ask her to dance. The next sources, the Saas Bahu aur Something's and House Arrest, add to the promo showing that Archana will stand up for Savita and defend her very vociferously at the reception. Finally, recent articles tell that Savita will soften up to Archana after this incident. Articles further tell that now both the Deshmukh and Karanjkar families will be fully supportive of Archana and Manav being together, but it is unclear as to how the two will proceed to that state with Shravani and her unborn child still as a standing issue.
The next fortnight will begin with quite a lot of drama with Archana back again at the Deshmukh home, Varsha taking on Rasika, and of course the Ajit-Vandita marriage reception. How will Manav react to Archana standing up for Savita? Will he fully abandon any marriage promises to Shravani and fully pursue Archana? Or will he keep his resolve but still come closer and closer to Archana? How will Savita be shown softening up to Archana? How will Ajit and Rasika continue to behave with Vandita? Will Vandita begin to speak up a bit more or try some ways of bringing Ajit more under her control? How will Rasika react to Archana's outburst over the ghungroo incident? What is going on with Varsha and Satish's impending marriage? Why has the garage been sealed? Is Girish up to something or hiding any secrets? Will Shravani surprise us with a new expression? Will my questions ever be answered by this show?

Why do you watch and discuss PR?
I started watching PR for that tender love romance b/w the lead couple. It was unique of its kind on the Idiot box. I love to discuss PR because it gives the different perception of people from different part of the world who also want to share the thought process.
When and why did you join IF / PR Forum?
I joined IF way back in the year 2007 for a show called Kajjal, Surveen and Apoorva were the lead of the show, but after a good run the show came to an end, i stopped visiting IF.When i was looking for updates and SBS/SBB, thats when i again became a bit active at the IF, so it was Pavitra rishta which brought me back to the forum.
What does this show remind you of?
The show reminds me off a movie Maine pyar kiya, so this pavitra rishta and pyar b/w Archana and Manav. There are many obstacles in life and its always a rollercoaster ride with so many ups and downs lot of misunderstandings. If your care too much then your bound to under the axe.
What extent would you go to act in PR?
Well to any extent if possible to see Archana & Manav get to those old pyar bhar days!
