thank you... can i please use this as the reason for continuing to watch this show despite not liking anything right now???

@topic maker- awesomeness!!
😆 ... robert frost has been one of my favorites ever since the 'stopping by the woods on a snowy evening' days.. i could especially relate to the 'miles to go before i sleep' lines during the nights of long cramming before my board exams.. 😆

anyways , love how you've summed up all their feelings into a single word.. reluctance... it indeed is reluctance.. reluctance to let go of something near and dear and venture into the unknown...

for armaan, it is reluctance to notice that there is something majorly wrong.. this is not just riddhima who is angry.. there is something much deeper, much more painful and he does not want to face it..

Riddhima- though in a horrible position brings half her sorrows on herself.. she is scared to let go of armaan, and scared to let go of sid too... but she has to do it sometime, and she better do it fast...

sid is oscillating between self-sacrificing and selfishness.. he wants to let riddhima take her own decision.. but he's also reluctant to help armaan now.. (its only human and natural).. i wish he either lets it go completely, or demands that riddhima make her decision and that too soon...

keep coming up with these brilliant topics...

PPl go into marraiges like Ridzi went in (don't start jumping up and down folks, I'm not done with my thought yet ... ) - to please family, society, or even to satisy an image we have of what a "perfect hubby" should be like. And when reality comes in ... well then, all bets are off.
Similary, there's this unrealistic portrayal of love and relationship in this marriage (again, SR fans, don't start shooting me yet). Everything happened to fast. Fine, she got married to him. For better or worse, good or bad, it was a done deal. They shoulda taken their time getting close. You don't, absolutely not, get over a 2.5 year relationship in mere weeks AND start to fall for someone, who oh by teh way you hated and were hell bent on destroying, all in a few weeks.
Much as I'm an AR fan, the only stable character here has been Sid. Yes, again, I'm an AR fan, but I am also a fan of KW.
I don't watch many soaps, this is actually my 2nd one, so I dunno what the shows typically portray, and shudder to think that these shows have impacts on teenage girls, BUT if it's true, they really ought to rethink such cr**.
BTW - I'm totally perplexed by those who've been crying "indian values" coz honestly, that one sailed away a long time ago in my opinion (on this show). Why didn't anyone cry indian values then?

I am from India living in US 😊, mature enough to understand things and different POVs, In Europe things are even worse [I had been there for long], here the divorce rate is 50% there no families 😲. [No offense intended here]

well my intention is not to moral police anyone, neither do I carry a torch to enlighten everyone out there about indian values or system. I am following this show and never stick to it the reason it never convinced me, the only thing is no good shows around, though I started watching this show with the hope that something is coming out like Sanjeevani [by the way I stopped that too once that become SAAS BAHU MENTALSAGA from medical series], I finished my engineering in the very year when DMG started so can't be like I was out of college long back but still wasn't able to relate it, might be a school going can think a larger than life stuff and that's fiction is all about, but that too need convincing power.
I never watch any Daily soaps, rather hate them up to certain extent, but in Indian tele love them or hate them but you can't ignore them. I don't know why I even liked SR, I think it was the chemistry created by the actors playing the role who convinced me to the certain extent, and I am really perturbed by how easily Indian viewers can accept the mockery, me no exception, that's my bad!

And right now the thing which makes me go nuts is utter confusion of a girl dangling between two guys and is very much married and getting well along with her hubby and about to accept the marriage with full heart suddenly realized Opps!! sorry I think I should better be with my Ex-Beau [I explicitly used Ex], No problem to err is human please carry on get divorce first.

My point is FOR HEAVEN SAKE DON"T GIVE IDEAS OF GETTING MARRIED IN 2 DAYS FOR WHAT EVER REASONS OR IF YOU'RE NOT A SUCCESS IN LOVE THEN TRY KILLING YOURSELF [how many of us are success in marrying our first love or crush] OR FEEL YOUR PARENTS ARE LESS WORTHIER THEN YOUR LOVE OF 2 YEARS [This sucks big time!!!] OR LOSE CONTROL IN FRONT OF YOUR EX EVEN AFTER YOU'RE MARRIED, GET OUT OF IT FIRST THEN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT FOR ME IT IS INFIDELITY.

BY THE WAY AM BIG FAN OF SRK, BUT HIS KABHI ALVIDA NA KEHNA LOOKED BIG BONKERS TO ME, NOW PEOPLE MIGHT HAVE LIKED I DIDN'T BECAUSE I AM CONSERVATIVE TOWARDS RELATIONSHIPS.
