Yes, the mangalsutra is Archana's and always will be, but I'm happy Archana refused it from Manav. He had the opportunity to give it back to her before, but he didn't. He should have spoken up the minute Shravani put her hands on it and said no, you can't have that, it's Archana's! It's been around Shravani's neck now and it's tainted to me. It's Manav's fault that Shravani has acted vindictively towards Archana. He has created this monster and he needs to control it.
I just hope Archana doesn't do anything crazy like give it back to Shravani!
I don't think she will. I think she understood what he was trying to say to her. He made the first move and I think she moved a step in his direction too. She held that mangalsutra very tightly after that. I think she willkeep it. She won't wear it. But she will keep it and see what he plans to do next i.e. about divorce and shravani before she wear it again.
