Meenal & Amey: Decent people of II2

I don't want to reply to the post throwing baseless accusations against two of my favorite contestants- Amey and Meenal. 😛

Its very very unfair that the two are getting free publicity they need, right? Very bad. Well, considering a lot of contestants have been given the chance to garner free publicity on this show, why leave these two out huh? Well, people refuse to vote for them when they sing in sur and give wonderful performances. Why else would two of the most talented contestants go into the bottom three after performances like 'Tum Jo Mil Gaye Ho' and 'Lambi Judaai'? If anyone deserves to be in the limelight right now, its Amey and Meenal undoubtably. They are two of the most talented singers left in II2 along with Karyuna and Antara.

Moreover, besides their talent, they are two of the most decent people in II2. Most humble, have great personalities, there is nothing phony or false about them.

So calling someone 'hot' is a sin right? Well, then we're all shameless here for calling Bollywood and TV stars hot. Wake up and smell the coffee. Meenal is a normal girl, if someone asked her to name the hottest contestant, what's wrong in taking the name of the most obvious choice.

If you think the hosts are biased against them, don't get me started on who is biased against who. For the most part, I never threw accusations against any contestants for garnering cheap publicity. But it seems like people here are adamant on making sure the top four singers don't make it to the top four. Well, keep it up people. At this rate, neither Antara, Meenal, Karyuna or Amey will be in the top four.

I'd rather give 'cheap publicity' to two of the most deserving and decent contestants on II2 than bash up the non-singers, besuras left in II2 by discussing them to no end and starting NOFAN clubs in their 'honor'.

And for the record, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Meenal-Amey hook up after II2 is over. 😳😳 But for now, they have to sing and perform their best and sail through each and every gala safe and sound. For the record, I've been a fan of Meenal's since the first audition, after hearing her sing 'Deedar De'. First impressions are a lasting impression so stop putting her down.

you are totally right, it's so wrong to criticize meenal for saying anything - she simply answered a question. and bechara amey is being dragged into it as well.

But, I personally don't think any one contestant is not humble or decent bc I don't even know them so I wouldn't go so far to say that some contestants are more decent than others. Also bc the contestants may not be even like how they are on screen. Remember shamit and arijit? I thought they were just 2 nice guys but then they go and backstab other people...so you can never tell.

and what about karunya? he never ever sings bad...and he even performs well, why would he be in the bottom three?

edited portion: I forgot about sandeep. he seems like he is the nicest guy ever so the whole decency thing applies to pretty much everyone.

Thanks for agreeing noname01. 😊 But Shamit and Arijit are good friends now and they're singing in an album together. What we saw wasn't real. Even Amey-Meenal is probably scripted, but they are good friends.

I called them the most decent because they are decent people. But people should support them cause they sing well first and foremost, not because of what they say etc.

talk about their performance.....their singing people. Judge them on the basis of talent.....not by the crap makers show to make their show popular.

Both Amey and Meenal r good singers and yes they desrve to be safe every week. i m sure they r good friends. Sony is just using this whole amey-meenal thing to attract more viewers.

Amey and Meenal shud defi. be in da top 2 4 da following reasons:

-Both are VERY talented and VERY hardworking which has bcum apparant since da 1st gala..dey r da most consistant out of ALL remaining contestants...

Plus..I think dey make such a cuteee couple and wud luv 2 c em fighting 4 da crown..(making them closer 4 later life 😳 ) 😉

Meenal -- Awesome person and humble and great attitude.
Amey -- Great talent and good looking(and may be hot to girls), but definitely not humble and not a great person and not honest either.
I do not like though those people who critisize him because he is a great talent.
So what if meenal finds him hot, great talent and good looking. I don't see anything wrong with that.
Probably some amey fan is doing this critisizm to get -ve publicity like Ravi has gotten.

The original topic was putting down both Meenal and Amey. Amey is talented, he doesn't need the -ve publicity. Neither does Meenal. Talent speaks.
