Please before jumping into conclusion - answer my questions....

Theory - Armaan loves Riddhima... Riddhima loves Armaan, but also cares for Sid (cause he's her husband)... Sid started loving Riddhima without once thinking about his first love (Tammana)....

1. Its alright for a man to seek other relation in his life if his first love returns, but when a girl tries to seek other relation cause her love is back is forced against laws of society and tradition?

2. If a guy can make mistake of having extra martial affair its alright, but when a girl thinks about herself its wrong or reminding of her limits as a daughter, sister, friend, wife, daughter-in-law, mother? Why isn't the guy tied with those titles of tradition by society?

3. Why should always girls are force to forgive their husband weather they commit mistakes, but if a girl commits same mistake its highly wrong and unforgiven?

Why? Just because you are a girl... Girls have their right to live a life they deserve by breaking free for forced on relationship. Riddhima herself is example of a girl who always thought about her family before herself in return she only wanted love from a person who would love her. And when that person came in her life (Armaan) destiny took him away and certain situation forced her into marrying someone else (Sid). Is it wrong to listen to your heart for once cause any girl can understand Riddhima's pain. Even Riddhima's eyes speak out her heart. If you look closely to those eyes belong to Riddhima - they only shout out Armaan's name cause that's what her heart feels.

Than why can't Riddhima break out of forced relationship she's living in?

wat can u expect more
gals r on thier way to achieve that freedom n liberty
but it surely take some time
i will very happy if she listens to her heart n goes to armaan
she will gain a lot of respect in my eyes..if ONLY SHE LISTENS TO HER HEART keeping aside the ties of society n pressure

ladies..............

not only in the indian society, but all over the world in every small possible way, women are disgarded their rights.

but there is improvement over the years but i dont think women would be given their right place ever in this world

There is no problem being a girl. In terms of Ridz I refuse to accept SR if her reason is "he's my husband therefore I'm gonna stick it thru" That can be part of the reason, but if it's the only reason then I wont like it.

If Ridz decides to be with Armaan then that is fine too but in answer to your post I've read very distasteful things that "she should've died than married Sid" and "she should've waited for Armaan if it was true love" etc. That too is absolute BS.

Being a modern independent woman means making decisions for what you see is best. When she rushed her marriage to Sid, Ridz chose to do so to stop all the mess her parents were in. When she chose to move forwards with her marriage was because she saw herself happy in it.

THEY WERE ALL HER CHOICES. Granted there were external factors but the end decision was hers. So in a way she is still modern/independent. What I didn't like was Armaan making a decision the two of them should've made together - him leaving. Moreover, I especially hated her taking time off work so she can stay home and think??? Come on!! Life can't be so tunnel-visioned. You have a responsibility to your profession - go fulfil it!!! I also hated how she played along with Sid not telling his mum they were married!!! all that "my husband is ashamed of me" stuff was annoying she should've at least stepped up and told the truth herself!

well ..Indian society ..doesn't allow a girl to take decision for her self ..I agree parents will never think anything bad about her daughter ..but sometimes ....unknowingly ....they do something which is so not gud ..parents always wants happiness of their children ..but fails to understand it..!!

ridz took decision to marry sid ..becos her parents convinced her to do so ..she agreed for marriage ..but she was not happy with it ...and still struggling with it !!!

I agree with "kripsy".

they were all her choices. It was she who found happiness with Sid.

c if ridz gets bak to sid jus becoz he is her husband.n she cannot break the laws of the society as its shame n becoz he ha shelped her so much n her family or blah blah.then i think it srediculous...bt if she is going to him becoz she thinks he is the one she wants to spend her life wid den i dont hav ne problem though i wnat AR togetehr bt here i m talking as a gal nt as a fan of a particular jodi............its high time ppl show sumthing that todays youth know wta to do n wat not.they know that jus by sacrificing their happiness n making othere s feel happy is nt going to do egood to them.i hope she makes a wise n thoughtful decision

Miketa Awesome post. An independant young woman like Riddhima would definitely some around to the realisation that she needs to break and do whast is right not only for herself but also for her Love and her current companion too. Cos living a forced marriage with someone and loving someone else is just living hell. And many people who say they support " Modern " values fall back on the tradition-says-dont-break -your-marriage " argument later on .
There should be one thing very clear in our hearts that nothing is higher than true love cos the happiness of a person cannot be sacrificed at the alter of rigid social norms and one-sided obligatory relations.
