So I just got done with reading a book called "Dumbest Generation" which mainly focused on how the digital age is turning our generation into lazy and useless beings. It started out with talking about the phenomenon of "Internet" and how it all began as a progressive tool. Basically, one of the major aspect that the critics applauded was the introduction of having freedom and confidence through this medium without getting conscious. What my post is about is the constant FACELESS ABUSE!
That's what this forum has turned into. All of us have taken this great gift of technology and have started to use it as an abusive accessory. By being faceless and unknown on this forum, even the most meek one of us have started to misuse this advantage again and again due to our many baises.
Who will Ridhima choose? Why can't they just tell Armaan? Sid is the villain!! Why did Armaan have to come back? Sidhima forever!!...blah blah blah. These are just excuses for so many users here to open up a topic and start on their main purpose: the pleasure of bashing their enemy and praising their hero. Kabhi AR fans to kabhi SR fans...it's a circle of abuse that keeps on going.
What are we getting with opening so many topics about what should happen? Why are we constantly abusing another character? Yes, we do have the opinion to comment, complain and communicate after each episode...but why have we become so shameless as to throw all of these things and only concentrate all our energies on bashing every member in sight?
I love this show. And I take no sides...and honestly, I AM VERY PROUD OF THAT. I may have my opinions and likes/dislikes, but I have the maturity and decency to convey that in a proper way. And I'm sure all of you have that too. But the sad thing is that your taking too much advantage of this medium. AND YOU NEED TO STOP.
Even if the other person is bashing, you need to keep your principles intact. Why stoop to their level? There is only one way to stop this nonsense that has become the DMG forum...STOP YOURSELF! Take some lessons from fans of couples like Anjali-Atul and Yuvi-Naina. Even though they have problems with the storyline, they don't create hungama at every drop of the hat.
There is no way I can ask you to make up, be friends or throw away your prejudices. All I can ask you is to look at yourselves and the posts you have made in the last couple of weeks. If you feel even slightly ashamed at your behavior, you will realize it and stop.
Only thing left to say is : KSG, Jenny and Karan would be disgusted by this shameless and barbaric behavior if they ever made the mistake of visiting this chaotic forum filled with only hate and abuse.
