i dont understand it either! and has anyone noticed that before ajit tried to rape her, her mum didnt ask around for her marriage but as soon as the rape thing happened, her mum started asking for her marriage? why? i dont get this? she is studying so how can she get married? and surely they could have waited few months for this rape thing to die down!

so basiclly this is because .. after ajit's attempt to rape vandu thing .. he went to vandu's school performance and made a big scene in front of the whole college and everyone saying that he raped her and he is very sorry he ruined her and stuff .. so archana takes this it to the women's society thing .. and over there the head person is rasika tai .. so the other people there tell her that if ur son did this then u have to find a punishment for him or else we'll take ur position away .. so her solution was to force or emotionally blackmail vandu into marrying ajit .. so she had no choice but to marry him .. to save herself from embarassment and her family from embarassment ..
