March 23, 2010:Barun Sobti who was last seen in the most popular lovey-dovey show on Star One, 'Dill Mill Gayye', will be soon spotted in DJ's next on Sony TV.
A reliable source informs, "Barun Sobti has been confirmed to play the lead role in DJ's new untitled show on Sony TV. He will be seen as the protagonist paired opposite Ankita Sharma, who is currently playing Ratna's character in Swastik Productions' 'Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo'."
"Barun will be essaying the character of a 'Cool Young Guy' and the shoot for the serial will start in the first week of April. The pre-production work is going on full speed ahead and the production house will is proud to be working on a completely new story line," concludes the source.
DJ's latest will be one of the many shows to launch post IPL. What remains to be seen is which show stands tall and survives the TRP war.
