You need to click on Setting in the Homepage, click on Edit Profile. Here, you can change the Avatar as per your wish, bearing in mind the Size specified by the Forum board.

Here's my instructions:

1. Go to settings
2. Click on Edit Profile
3. Go down till u see
"upload avatar"
4. U can choose one from
there

or

Above that u'll see
that it says "Show all".

Hope this helped u a bit.
If ur still confused just ask.
