Routines that I'd like to see on DID

Lately, the routines have been very...blah...only one standout routine every week (IMHO)...and for me all of the routines that I like have been danced by Shakti...except for yesterdays one...I'm not a fan of hip hop lite...though the routine was danced well...just blah for me...anyways...cutting to the chase...I wanted to share some routines that I think should be done on DID...since I live in Canada...I'm going to post my favourite routines from SYTYCD Canada Season 2...y'all are free to post your own choices as well...hope you like them

Contemporary - a routine that totally pwns from Stacey Tookey (LOVE HER)...danced by Kim Gingras (my penultimate favourite female dancer ever...but she didn't win) and Emanuel Sandhu (yes..he's the figure skater)...the lady on the judging panel who wore the red dress is Karen Kain...totally famous ballerina...she was head ballerina at the NBC...and now she's the artistic director there

That was a lot lol...couldn't round it down at all...but what do you peoples think? And aren't the Canadian dancers cool ^_^

I can add few more like Tap, Hula, Jumba etc

India is rich with variety of cultures. So many lovely dance forms like, Tagore's song ( I never saw anyone doing a routine based on tagore's tune). I myself is a big fan of tagore's melody.

I only know the Bengali Tagore songs...and the one that I'd love to see a classical routine in is...ummm..you know that movie Parineeta..the one with Vidya Balan..from the song Soona Man Ka Aangan...the part Shreya Ghoshal sings...that one...ooooor...theres this other song...called (in Bengali) Purano Shei Din-er Kotha...those are my favourite ones of his

Urmm.. nice videos.. I hope to watch SYTYCD - Canada.. just incase it'll be aired here in India too.. Gosh !! you guys are lucky !! 😍

hehe..thanks for the response...and I doubt SYTYCDC will be aired in India...mainly cause...its a Canadian show lol...who'd want that >_>...American shows rule the airwaves internationally...anyways...it's not that the routines on DID are bad or anything...it's just that I'm losing interest in it >_>...but it'd so totally pwn if their routines emulated some of them...though I doubt that DID would do the Latin dancing as sexified as they do in the North American shows

^^ OMG..don't sweat it...this is why I opened this thread...to let the opinions flow out...I only focused on the Canadian one cause the videos were readily accessible to me...plus there are a LOT of American ones...so yea...lol...and I like your choices in the hip hop ones...btw Bleeding Love was choreographed by Tabitha and Napoleon...I'd also like to add the Krump routine by Kherrington and Twitch (they weren't in sync for the last half of the routine if I recall correctly...but it was still done real well)

You can add them here...no worries...we don't need to separate threads by region...in the end we're sending out one message...so post away without avail!!!

BTW did you like the Canadian dancers...that season was soooooo good....the top 10 were tremendous and it was just sad to see them all go one by one T_T
