About the SR, didn't you read the Malaysia HM article? Avi said that SR happens successfully without any twists and turns. So, SR does happen. Okay, I am basing that only on what i read in that article.

It is interesting ... that you say the story line after August is someone else's ... i started liking the story only after vish left for mumbai (though the episodes were not well connected) ... which was around july/august ... before August , I loved some of the episodes but rads was crying all the time 😭 found it very hard to take at times ... and i was unsure where they were going with the story line

I liked Rad's life a lot better in Vrindavan. She had more freedom to go wherever. Now she has to get permission even to step outside, like some feudal wife, and she gives only fleeting attention to Dev. Plus with romance pretty much dead between them, even the background music, which was so beautiful in Vrind., has become so filmi and boring and derivative.

Every time they are going to spend some time alone, the whole family says "Oh goody, make some babies!" What the...? And then they throw surprise parties almost every evening, so where do Radev ever get a chance to be alone.

You are right, prior to August, Rads was always crying. But for me those were the golden era of CB. As far the crying, it was part of the storyline. For the injustice that happened to an orphan girl, indebted to her foster parents, crying was all the protagonist could have done at that time. So, I don't blame the writers for that. They chose a story of that kind.

But the story never went in circles and wasn't too slow either, it had a pace of its own and Radh's face was revealed before it could stagnant more. I love those prior-August episodes.

The new writers were good at creating romantic scenes and one-off episodes to sustain the presence IMO. Like I said thats when the courtship and the 2nd marriage happened and after that looks like DJs thought these 'Seinfield' (Gardes' term) kind of episodes are not going to take them anywhere and also that, that was not their style and looks like they pulled up their socks and started planning their story, while the writers are the same from mid-July/August. I do see the planning and would like to appreciate the DJs for that. They did have to clean-up some of the mess and after that the story has been picking up. But for me, nothing can compare to their prior to July/August episodes, for me they were the enchanting episodes.
