Well, since Ishan-Jasmine's engagement has made it to the newspaper headlines, obviously Shiv will know that Ishan has ditched Mahi.

And then he will also understand why she was so miserable during their last 'fall' encounter. I'm just wondering what he will do...

Of course Mahi and Shiv are not so close yet that he can just call her up and discuss this like Sid and Roshni. What would he do? He wouldn't like to remind her of Ishan's betrayal either, right?

Now that Ishan has broken Mahi's heart so ruthlessly, and Mahi will get over Ishan craze, we probably will see more of MaHiv and their bonding... I just can't wait for that.

i dont think Shiv is a friend to Mahi like Sid and ROshni are. shiv and mahi barely know each other so it'd be really odd if Shiv wants to discuss Mahi's relationship especially since she didnt even tell him that she has a BF. whatever he knows is through the newspaper.

I think Shiv will say nothing or if he does he will say something like "I read what happened between you and Ishan. I'm not looking for an explaination, just wanna know if you wanna hang out".

But the engagement party scene was just natural.... LOVED IT! The way Mahi went on and on and on about her troubles and fears and Shiv listening to her all the time was just beautiful.
