Like they did with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Zee is coming up now with a version for kids. Called Dance India Dance Junior, the show will see DID 1 contestant, Jai Kumar Nair as a mentor for the children. Confirming the news, Jai says, "Yes, I will be mentoring one group in the show. There will be three more mentors in the show. The other three have not yet been finalised. But I feel there will be one person each from the first and second seasons."
Jai has been travelling to Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Guwahati and Bangalore and is happy to see the response. "I have seen some mind-blowing performances. The kids are sometimes better than the grown-ups," he says. Jai will also be seen in a cameo in Kabir Sadanand's Tum Milo To Sahi . "The entire credit goes to Dance India Dance because no one knew me before that," says he who runs three dance institutes in Mumbai.
