Does anyone know why Simi is given a preference in RS's liking .

What has she done great for the family? what is RS proud of her that he doesn't see in his other 3 children

I think that Simi has always taken care of everyone in the house and never let anyone feel her burden. When RS found out RB and was talking to Simi he was saying all the things that made Simi special like Simi staying outside all day in front of Anuj's classroom on his first day of school so he would not be scared, and After school going to RS's store and workin for a few hours so RS can get some rest, and helping Manju with all the household chores so she is (Manju) not burdened with all the work either. And RS said "you did everything so no one would be overworked or overtired. I think thats why!

Simple because
1. She is the eldest daugther
2. Since she was not getting married due to being slightly heavy ( as said by her mother) she was coming close to her dad.
3. Since her mom was always against her she became close to her father
4. Also since she was sacrificing everything for the love of her brother and sisters... she was given preference
5. Anuj has been behaving mad since he has married Anita -- he stole the FD and then he was always against Simi...

simi is the eldest child , the first daughter in the house. she is the first one to call them mother and father or say papaji and mummyji. and the first girl child is always more affeconate to the father than the other children and the same way arround.

mothers care for sons more than daughters. this is a common thing and its the same in 98 % of the houses.
If u notice in any family the first child is always quiet silent, innocent (than the other siblings) , always concerned about the others, even if they get some thing they make a poit they share it wiht others, wheres as the yopunge rones dont, they dont even bother.
the first child always think they have more responsibilities towards the house ( actually its hteir mentality ) even if they know they no need of taking the responsibilities up on their head, but still they do.
RS knows simi is very innocent also she wont wont fight for her self or her rights , he knows she will sacrifice everything she has and she can for her siblings and her parents.
Mili can take care of her self RS know about it. Neetu is also quiet confident that seh can take care of her self and can atleast give back 2-3 dialogues back. where as simi wont even utter a word no matter who it is.
for instance in yesterdays episode , when manju was giving suuch big big dialogues , any other child in sethi nivas woud have given back , but simi listened to her wuiety, in fact i know many of us wouldnt have mind entering into the screen and giving manju a piece of our mind
But there is an exception casefor all and the exception for this case is anita( she dosent even bother about her brother, i wish she had got a little sense from simi)

Good point Shanti ,Even I don't support this... NO parents should be partial. with Any child of theirs..... Both Rajinder partial for Simmi n Manju partial for Anuj ARE Wrong!!! Parent's Partiality Feeds Sibling Jealousy n Sibling Rivalry.... They've also shown the Same in Pavitra Rishta... The Mother,Sulochana Always Prefers her Eldest Daughter archu and kind of Ignores her 3 kids....one of the younger daughters started having Mental problems n jealousy against her mother n Eldest Sister.... SAMe Here in Karol Baagh...Anuj & neetu are jealous of simmi...more than I'd blame Neetu-Anuj I'll blame Rajinder-Manju....None of them have been Good parents and Their children are the Examples..... Yeah Simmi might be OK,Mahaan etc etc but if 50% of your Products are Bad & you think You have no Responsibility then You'd better Not Be parents!!!!There's tremendous Jealousy in the family among siblings, and I beleive that Children Do not Go bad unnecessarily--No one is Born-Bad,it's the way they''re brought up,dealth with They change....... There's Clear inequal treatment of Children by parents and they're To Be BLAMED... no matter what's the Reason(More income by a particular child,A Weaker child etc etc) NO Parent should ever have or Show Partiality or More love towards one of their Children....!!!!!

parents love all children but most parents are partial unfortunately.
I mean especially moms are partial to sons and dads are to daughters as secially when the daughters are first born.
I have seen thsi pattern a lot in many families.
So true if parents undestand this is a wrong practice and that sends wrong msg to child. especailly boys who takes everything wrong way when they are instigated by their peers.
Anuj is this way bcos of manju and RS. manju has spoiled him because she ignores all wrong done by anuj and rS condemns every little things and beomes harsh. it is ok to become harsh but then when he brings simi there. He is making big mistake because even nitu feels jealous.
Simi deserves lots of praises for every thing she does. But it should not be done to make nitu or anuj look bad.

definately Parents have their own pet child......it doesn't mean that the parent will be partial towards that child and ignore/neglect other children.....and when it comes to LOVE they have abundance of it and equal amount of love towards each child.......it only shows that Parents are Human Beings too....and contrary to what some say i have seen some parents being more partial towards destiny's less fortunate child ....be it in any way physical, mental,economical....and if the other siblings do feel a tinge of jealousy then its the child who needs to ponder upon it and see something is seriously wrong and rectify it......if at all the child is jealous then it will be anyways no matter howmuch ever love they get....case in point is the serial uttaran ( just like movie aaina)...
but the extent to which this is shown is serials is way too filmy and thankfully and hopefully it doesn't happen in real life...

Lata- U know What It does happen in Real lives...Not that They express their jealousy openly n in Dramatic ways like they Show in Tv Dramas But Tremendous Sibling jealousy Does develop in Practical lives from Parents' Partial behaviours and That's Why they Show this pOint in ALMOST ALL Dramas...Saat Phere had it, Chhoti Bahu has it,Pavitra Rishta has it , even Astitva Ek Prem kahani had it(Simran's Younger Sis kavitha was jealous of her because of their Father's preference towards His most brilliant daughter,Simran) and Of course Karol Baagh has it ....Sorry I haven't watched A lotbof dramas May be more dramas have this 1 and Very Practical point....

It is very hard to argue a good point like this one. You have nailed it. And yes it does happen in real life....But as bad as Anuj.....I don't think so.....or atleast I hope so
