Also, "we" did not want the political track to end.....most of us MN fans were loving the political track. In fact it was a nice change of pace and brought a "new" flavor to the show. It also gave all the actors a chance to explore and hone their own skills.
Now, we've gone back to senseless and puke-worthy comedy with contrived situations that no college student with an ounce of common sense would handle the way it's been presented. Even if in some twisted version of reality that the creatives dreamed up, the boys believe that it's their responsibility, is this how they would handle it? I mean how long do the boys think they can hide it from the girls? Where are Mayank's principles? He's the one who always preached honesty....so why the about-turn? Nupur does a good Jekyll and Hyde imitation. One minute she's this loving wife and the next minute she's a shrew. Characters are brought in and chucked out so randomly. One fine day bui and bauji show up from nowhere to insult Mayank...and then when Gunjan is shot, bui does the disappearing act. Bauji has also done a good imitation of David Copperfield....why isn't he here when his daughter is back on her feet? Now a baby pops up from nowhere and our "intelligent" heroes don't think of checking with the police.....they just cart the baby home and play "inky pinky ponky" (or whatever the heck it was) to decide who will keep the baby.
I'm sorry, but there is no way the creatives can justify this whole track and the behaviour of these characters. I'm pretty sure that the show will survive because for some reason, this comedy appeals to the younger audience. But a big chunk of the original fan base has bid goodbye to the show they once loved.
