uff ho, why bring up the mentometer... that thing is a total joke.

if my memory serves me correctly, debo deserved higher marks on the first song that night and lower marks on the second. listen, i like debu a lot but that does not mean i cannot tell when he is not doing his best... and for some reason he got all 10s or something...wtf?

mentometer is a total joke, always has been.

the mentors should be required to judge based on a certain rubric, not just whatever the hell they decide

Shreya just mentioned he is good and humble person but didn't say Debu sang better. In fact, on that day the first round itself was the turning point, where Shreya gave 8 to Vinit and only 7 to Debu; I think she did justice to her job, giving her piece of mind here by those deciding points. Vinit has ALWAYS got better scores than Debu, which speaks amply of his consistent performance (the only contestant who scored never below 8 or has seen elimination card).

I wonder if many Debu supporters in this forum are actually lying to themselves, knowing well that overall V sings better, but they are not open to believe or admit what is apparent. Debu sings okay, but not as good in comparison to Vinit.

I agree with you, coolsam, that Debu has some pronunciation problems, which if we remember Himesh once said before. Everything in life is gauged in relative to one another. In relative to Vinit's singing talent, Debu's singing is mediocre. Because the difference is obvious, I am saying this without any nagging feeling that I am not telling what I truly feel or being unfair with my opinion. Do Debu's supporters also feel that way; I'm afraid majority of them would not...

For debo fans thing that All guests of SRGMP who gave less marks to debo are biased except Pt JasRaj. Because he only gave green card in initial Rounds. So I think its better to get back that Pt JasRaj again as guest to give more marks to debo. 😆

why are vinit, hr, & many of their fans so obsessed w/ scores? methinks they are all suffering from what a lot of men suffer...."whose is bigger" syndrome.... 😆

Matchline please go back and hear all the Debu & Vinit songs. Does V's singing not hurt your eardrums? His high and low notes need a lot of work and I mean a Lot OF WORK!. In a few years with vocal training he will be a force to contend with, but not as of today! No...not at this time meri jaan! Accept reality...there is hope for Vinit....but down the road when maturity sets in his voice. Trust me and just accept these words of wisdom!
