March 13 Video Update
Guys really sorry, this one won't be that descriptive because I typed it all up and then, my internet crashed, which made me loose all of my writing, and I finished writing the last performance and was done. ðŸ˜
March 13 Video Update
Guys really sorry, this one won't be that descriptive because I typed it all up and then, my internet crashed, which made me loose all of my writing, and I finished writing the last performance and was done. ðŸ˜
So this one will be shorter:
The theme was Indian (various types)
- Boman comes to the stage and the promo of his movie, Well Done Appu, is shown Saajan-Punit: This performance was about 2 princes and one of them will be king. Punit turns out to be king but then Saajan gets into a sword fight with Punit. They both die but Punit puts the crown on Saajan before dying. Saajan forgot a lot of steps in the beginning which were clearly shown. Judges pointed that out Shakti-Amar: They did a martial arts dance to the song Blue and were in the forms from the movie of Avatar. This is a performance to definately see. They did an amazing job on it. If you can't watch it on tv, then definately youtube it! Binny-Amrita: They did 5 different forms of classical indian dancing which I really can't remember except it was Manipuri and katha. The rest, I forgot. Sorry. But what Binny and Amrita did was one-one. For example, Binny would explain Katha and then Amrita would dance to the type. Comments from judges were about it being a wonderful concept Nikkitasha-Punit: Tashu was playing the role of Seeta and Punit was Ravan in disguise of a priest. Tashu was in a circle which was on fire. After she gets out, she finds out that it was Ravan. She tries to free herself but he takes her away. Comments: "We will miss you Nikkitasha" Kishore-Dharmesh: They did an act where Kishore was Krishna and Dharmesh was Kalli. It starts out with Kishore and then, the lights went off and Kishore and Dharmesh were glowing the dark. Comments: Amazing concept, really different too etc.
- Shakti-Jack: This was a bhangra act. First started out with sticks. The song was Rang De Basanti. Shakti went on Jack's shoulders and was about to loose her balance but Jack helped her.
Performances to see- Definately Shakti-Amar.
Note: I did not include the scenes between the performances because I forgot about them. What I remember though is that at the end everyone was slow dancing to Phela Nasha, Jay and Remo slow danced which I thought was kind of funny. Jay pleaded to dance with Mithun Da and he agree, and only dance for a couple of seconds.
