In a way villagers are right in thinking like this because if Reva had been a shy girl confined to her home and not having such a carefree nature then may be Aryaman wuldn't have noticed her but then I ask that does that mean that a girl is not supposed to roam out alone? A boy can go anywhere alone in this world but a girl can't go anywhere without an escort. A girl can't laugh out loud because of the fear that some nut might take a fancy to her. It is all because of womenisers like Aryaman.On this holi only I noticed that a father kept standing in the ground till his daughter went inside the house.The girl's mother had gone after playing holi and father remained there only because of his 15yr.old daughter.Had it been a son then father won't have stayed there. Why is it that the actresses have fear of being molested but not the actors? Whereas if there are men crazy after the actress then there are girls crazy after the actor.
i dont think so.....remember the promos???/ there everybody was shown blaming Reva that the fault lay in Reva who was always seen roaming here and there....
the language they probably use in that promo was....MODI MEIN HI DOSH HAI.....which means the fault lies in the girl...and so she became a victim of rape....
so i dont think the poor girl and her family will be supported by the villagers/local panchayat. rather they will earn the wrath and ill feelings of all.
This is all because the defect in our society that they will blame the victim too and in this way the rape becomes something which happened with the mutual consent of both.In that case no one says anything to the boy but the girl is labelled as characterless and the society makes it hard for that girl to live.That is why so many girls committ sucide after such incident.😔
